The rice quality was equal to my school cafeteria's rice. Watery, bland, and soggy. Charged $1 for a 1 oz side of pico and cilantro each without telling me there would be a charge when I ordered it. I've never been charged for a pinch of pico or cilantro at the Angelina's in Lewisville or even most Mexican restaurants and if I have it wasn't a dollar for the littlest passable amount. I asked about the happy hr drinks and asked if there was a way to make a sugar free happy hr margarita I specifically said I wanted the $5 margarita and the waitress said yes....then charged me for a patron margarita When I got my bill I was surprised and when I talked the waitress and explained that I specifically ordered the happy hour she was like it's fine I'll pay the difference but wasn't changing the bill and I had a card so what she was saying wasn't making sense to me. Then I saw the charge for the pico and cilantro and said I wasn't aware of the charges. She got her manager and I explained to the manager that there was a lack of communication from the waitress and I never ordered a patron margarita. The manager told me she was the owner, was absolutely unapologetic just turned it around on me like I should have known. She explained she wasn't going to do anything about the charges bc she needed to pay her vendors when I order a side of cilantro or pico...but a whole tomato and a whole thing of cilantro is less than a dollar each...absolutely absurd. I explained I've never been to the restaurant and she just didn't care. The lack of customer service just was appalling to me especially knowing that from my days in restaurants, if I handled a customer like that, I would have been reprimanded. the "owner" kept insisting that I ordered the patron margarita and explained to me the difference between happy hr drinks and top shelf...ok i'm not a child I know the difference and I didn't order the patron. She finally said she'll give me the happy hr price but all she did was take a dollar off..the lack of customer service after I explained it was my first time there and there was no real attempt to make me feel like my business was appreciated or to leave a good first impression on a paying customer. . She was absolutely impolite the whole discourse as well, no manners. I will not spend another penny here ever and I've told many people about my experience. I ended up paying $7 more than I expected to which would have influenced my decision in dining here. I paid over $20 for what was supposed to be a happy hr margarita, a side of overly cooked and salted beans, soggy rice, tortillas, 1 oz of pico, and 1 oz cilantro. And I was rude...

In response to the comment below from the owner regarding multiple bottles of alcohol being brought in - would you like the matter of libel to be addressed in court? We can have an attorney request a subpoena for the security footage you told us you had if you would like to go that route? I think we both know that the footage would not fall in line with the false statement you made in your response to Courtney (claiming multiple bottles were brought in and one was broken). Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
Instead of addressing the legitimate issues that were pointed out in Courtney’s review, your comment seemed to focus on making comments to discredit her character and portray the party as a disruptive, problematic customer and we know that wasn’t the case at all.
Perhaps you (the owner) should focus more on instilling processes to promote better customer service for your paying customers and focus less on your willingness to lie on a public review in hopes of the review being discredited. That alone hints to me that customer service/relations might not be a priority of your establishment and that should be of great concern to you as an owner. I would suggest conducting an honest, personal moral inventory of yourself and determine if the service industry is a good fit for your business ventures.
Can you (the owner) please confirm the brand and type of alcohol for the bottle you claimed was broken? Fortunately, we keep receipts and can easily verify whether or not it was purchased by us.
I certainly will not tolerate someone attempting to make myself or my friends look foolish just in an attempt to save face on their end because they provided a subpar service. Therefore, if we need to pursue litigation to prevent your questionable actions moving forward, I’m prepared to do so. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, so we can get...

Wasn’t expecting anything great food-wise but was definitely ripped off when it came to the service.
We went during happy hour and ordered a house margarita and a hurricane. The waiter asked my wife if Casamigos was fine for the margarita. She said that was okay.
When the bill came, the margarita, which on the menu is priced at $9, was showing $17. Also, nothing was discounted for happy hour. We let the waiter know and he said the margarita was priced more because they used Casamigos Reposado. We told him we didn’t proactively ask for that and he was the one who said it like that was the default tequila used. He said that it’s a higher end tequila so they charge more. (For anyone who may not know, Casamigos is just cheaply made garbage with good marketing.) then this dude had the nerve to ask if that was all good and he can take my card. We told him no, we would like it fixed. cut to manager coming over we re-explained the issue and she told us she would fire the waiter if he never asked us if he could use that tequila. We very clearly told her what we ordered (on the menu it does not tell you what tequila they use) and the waiter casually confirmed he could put this hot garbage tequila in it (my wife doesn’t know or care about brands, don’t blame me). She said if the waiter lied to us she would fire him because they don’t do that there. She was very clearly trying to get us to take fault so as to not get anyone fired but if they want to fire someone for miscommunication, that’s their prerogative. We went back and forth and told her nothing was communicated to us properly and nothing was discounted and we just didn’t want to be taken advantage of. Also, head’s up, this manager indicated to us that the house margarita is made with very, very cheap tequila and they wouldn’t use name-brand stuff. But she said she would just price it normally but not provide any discounts.
Anyway, after that whole debacle, food was a slight step up from Taco Bell so they got that...
