NEVER EVER AGAIN! if you want to have more than one beer than don’t even bother coming here.. I have had it with this place!!!!! i’m going to go higher than just this review but wanted to get this out there!!! I’ve been here multiple times throughout my life, and the last three times that I’ve been here, I have been cut off after one beer and told that they can’t serve me. The most recent time I came was last night on april 9, 2025 and I’m going to give some background. One of my friends who was a younger female (mid 30s); got to the bar around 12:30 PM, and she stayed until 4 PM. she was sitting at the outside bar with two other men who were at the bar. Over the course of four hours, she had drank five Michelob ultras on draft. The bartenders switched off around that time, and I had arrived at 4 PM to meet her. After I got there, I had one beer and one shot of jameson. we left that place around 430 PM, had other things to do. well, we met up with our boyfriends and decided to come back for dinner around 9:30 PM. at this point, we were very sober, we also had our boyfriends driving us. AND 5 HOURS HAD PASSED. we go to sit down at an inside table and then realize that we want to move outside because the heaters are on. So we go move outside to sit down at a table. we are just having normal conversations with each other when a manager (wearing a green shirt, maybe slightly Indian); walks over to our table and instantly is very hostile, saying that the bartenders were not comfortable with us being here, they were not comfortable serving us, and that he cannot give us any service but food. mainly, he said that he could serve everyone else except for my friend since she had five beers literally 5 HOURS PRIOR! if you know the alcohol law, then you know that every hour that passes, a beer gets out of your system. Meaning all five of her beers would’ve been completely out of her system by the time that we arrived back for dinner. we understand that any establishment can refuse to serve people. However, we were wanting a reasonable explanation as to why we cannot be served. He basically kept saying that someone didn’t feel comfortable, whatever whatever. he never was able to give us any form of reasonable excuse as to why we couldn’t be served. There was no public intoxication, there were no signs that we were drunk (bc we werent lol) But basically it boils down to the fact that we were two females and it was a “jealousy” or “power trip” scene. because grown men come in there and slam 15- 20 beers with shots… and are allowed to walk out and get in their vehicle and drive away. but because we were two females, we were completely cut off and weren’t served anything. One time when I was here a few months ago, there was a table beside me who had taken over 10 pickle back shots, each drank over 10 beers, and ordered no food. And the server kept serving them and let them leave. Meaning this is not a standard role across the board, they just get to pick and choose when they want to lose business and customers. The times that I’ve been cut off here before was literally having maybe two beers, and other petty situations. so needless to say, this place will never have my business ever again, this is a crazy way to run a business. And I’m pretty sure this doesn’t follow any form of liquor or alcohol...
Read moreMy review has nothing to do with the food or service because those things were fine. The people waiting on us were phenomenal. However, I will tell you what wasn't good. We pulled into the parking lot and due to the configuration we passed a spot and due to the traffic coming from the opposite direction we had to back up and back into a spot. As we were backing up the car was jolted and we heard a huge crash noise. We immediately got out of the vehicle to see that there was a cement post sticking up out of the ground. The tire stops did not stop you before you reached that post and there were no markers to tell you that the post was back there. The post ended up under our car so we had to pull back over it in which it scraped up the bumper to the car. One of the guys on the outside patio came running down from the patio and told me that he too had hit the post with his jeep because he couldn't see it there. The thing that saved him was that his vehicle sits up way higher than mine. But he did say that he had also told the management about it when it happened to him. I immediately let the management know and today I spoke with the general manager, Brad. I spoke to him and let him know what happened and it was at that point he said that he is sure I was expecting some form of resolve. I said the only thing I would ask is that they mark that spot so other people would know the post is there as well as maybe paying to have my bumper touched up. I did not ask to have the bumper completely repainted, but merely touched up where the scrapes are. Brad at that point made me aware that as much as he hated that my car was damaged, that the restaurant does not feel it is their responsibility to take action for something that happened in their parking lot. I explained that even their tire stops didn't stop the vehicle before hitting the post and he again said that it was shame that it happened, however, he still didn't feel it was the responsibility of the restaurant to be responsible for the parking conditions or hazards if they are not the ones personally out there conducting upgrades or repairs during the time of the incident. As you can see from the photo, the cement post is so low to the ground that it makes it very hard to see and if you have a car that sits lower to the ground as mine evidently does it is prone to this. I too own a business and I have to carry insurance for any incidents that happen in or outside of my building. It is their prerogative to refuse to pay for things that happen on their property and it is my prerogative to let people know that they refuse to take responsibility for these things. Moral of the story: Don't rely on tire stops to protect you from rolling down the hill and don't expect everyone to do the right thing. Today's society teaches us to deny deny...
Read moreWhere to begin! Crystal the manager... needs to be fired... gone... bye bye! I have never left a review at a restaurant until now!! She was rude for the 3rd time we will not be back! None of this local large crew will be back. Strike 3 and you're out! We have made 3 attempts to bring out of town guest to this establishment. We had a party of 16. Only 8 there at that point . Understood that A group of 6(from one manager) 8 (from another manager) can sit at one table. apparently they are not on the same page! The host told us first come first serve on patio so we went and grabbed a table on patio outside like told by host. Crystal with an attitude approached us. Saying only 8 people to a table (rules.. totally respect that) We sat down with our 8 people at a large tables like told. If the table beside of us was available at the time that the rest of the out of town guest trinkled in together they could sit there.... if not then no problem they can sit elsewhere. Crystal (with a head shake an attitude) approached us and said we all had to leave (in a VeRy rude tone) that the host told us wrong that it's not first come first serve , and that she addressed the situation after she told us that. I then said ok, well we are a table of 8 and we will sit in our "assigned seats"with our party of 8. She told us we had to leave we could Not know the party sitting beside us. 😂ok this is hickory and the chances of me NOT knowing the table next to us would be slim to none.... and I assure as rude as she was I would have made best friends (which is easy for me) with anyone who would be sitting at the table beside me for spite no doubt at this point . You can't know the people sitting beside you?!??!? What?!??!! Very unprofessional!!! Very rude!! And lots of attitude! Furthermore she embarassed put out of town guest. Another local said not like this on Fridays she's off work..... and not rude to everyone . So, as a local ..... until she's gone None of the large crew we bring will be returning. This isn't always a large crew, but a very large group of friends who have frequented this place since they opened. This same scenario with crystal had happened for the 3rd time in the last 6 months Not that y'all care it's a franchise don't need the money. But you should care about the Blanton disrespect of the manager Crystal is giving on the daily as many people had seen! She will be the downfall of this place. I have seen other reviews and it seems as if maybe you all should start replying and start caring. Until then, we are happy to take our business elsewhere. Any other establishment will appreciate the business we bring even if...
