Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hickory

Today is August 22, 2025...I came in to this location at 11:52am (buffet starts at 11:30am) along with my coworker on our lunch break (we only get 30 minutes) and there were NO PIZZAS OR SALAD at the buffet..only small salad plates! There were only two workers and one was literally on crutches with a boot on her foot....I can't make this up!!! After sitting for a few minutes we were asked our drink order by the lady on crutches and after pouring one of the drinks she went off to do something else and never brought us our drinks lol. Which was kind've disappointing because I really wanted to see how she was going to pull that off. 17 minutes later we were brought our drinks ( no napkins or silverware) and this is after only one pizza had been placed on the buffet which was gone in about 3 minutes because there were other hungry people waiting as well. 8 minutes later only ONE CHEESE PIZZA came out and after we got our next few slices of that it was time for us to go back to work. Now I will say the staff did recognize their lack of ability to produce pizzas by 11:30 and before I could even say anything at the counter our bill was reduced to 50% off....but with that being said I WILL NEVER COME BACK OR SPEND MY MONEY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! I have came here before and pizza was late coming to the buffet not to this extent. Whoever made that poor lady work AND take drink orders should've had somebody else come in to help assist. Oh I never leave reviews for food so that should tell you everything you need to know about...

I placed an order online with Pizza Hut for my staff and myself because we were swamped. The pizza tracker said my order had been made and was out for delivery. 2 hours pass and still no food. I call Pizza Hut, and was transferred over to a call center where no one picked up. I got a recording that asked me to put in my zip code , telephone number, and pin. I had no pin so what was I to do? I went over to pizza hut to see what was going on. The shift leader told me the online system was down again and that they never got my order . I informed the shift leader that the call center was not working either and that I have a group of staff members that are hungry. . The shift leader then made my food and said she would have it to me soon. I finally received my order only to find out my 2 liter sodas were not with my order so I had to go back to Pizza Hut and ask for it. I DO NOT recommend the call center for ordering . Its difficult to follow up about your order, make any changes to your order , as well as impossible to inform someone e of any complications or questions. ordering should be done through the store only.

Very dissatisfied with this location. I have small kids and like to order my food before we arrive so we don't have to wait. We especially like to do this at this location because it takes forever inside this location. They are very slow. My big complaint though is trying to call in to place an order. You can never get thru. Last night I started calling from my home in Icard and it rang all the way there. They did pick up once but then put me back on hold. When we arrived I had called again and I tried for 30 more minutes and still no answer. I was at the restaurant while calling, they were not busy and still didn't answer. My kids were a sleep so I couldn't go in. I wanted to place the order so it would be ready when my husband met us there from work. When he arrived I still hadn't got thru, so he went in to place the order. After entering he was trying to place his order but could not because the employees where to busy in random conversation to even pay attention that someone was there. So my husband left. So we took our business else where and plan to do...
