The food here is fabulous! We were passing through on a road trip and decided to try this place. This is some of the best italian food I have ever eaten. The stromboli is meaty and as big as a football. The marinara is just the way I like it. My son loved the tortellini with alfredo and the ziti neapolitani was a hit at our table. If I come back to Hico, I will definitely eat here again.

Food was decent. Service was pretty slow (we were the only ones there for most of our meal). Chicken Marsala was very good. Stromboli was pretty good. Tiramisu was definitely not homemade. It was frozen sold when they brought it to our table. They were nice enough to remove it from our bill, since we could not even eat it.

Don’t order the Ziti with eggplant. It was one huge tough piece between the ziti and the cheese. When I mentioned to the waitress how tough the piece was, her response was, “I don’t eat eggplant” and threw up her hands.

If I could give this restaurant no star, I would! This was by far the worse customer service ever! Ever! We are on our way to celebrate with family in Plainview. As we all start to get hungry, we stopped at Giovanni's. We are all hungry, a party of 15! I would of thought the staff or owner would be welcoming after seeing how many we were, well that was not the case. As we walk in, we approach two separate tables the lady walked over and said "get up! Please" with a firm and unpleasant tone; that was red flag number one. Then as they put the tables together she's slamming the the chairs as she's placing them where they belong. A chair was left at the end of the table and I figured I could sit there and grabbed the chair and she then says "can I have that chair, it doesn't go there" again that unpleasant tone...red flag number two! (Well excuse me!)... it doesn't stop there, we ask to have separate checks for each family, she rolled her eyes and said "ooookay" like we were a bother to serve. Red flag number 3!! We sat there a bit and looked at each other. They only had two other couples eating there and they also were looking around with a face of confusion. We've never encountered such poor customer service that made us so uncomfortable as well as upset! We were hungry but not to put up with that ladies BS! We went over and had lunch at Koffee Kuo Family Restaurant so far so good, they are VERY NICE...

Small town feel, big flavor. I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive when my salad came out swimming in water. It had been washed but it clearly wasn't dried. However, most of that apprehension left immediately when my son's pizza arrived to the table. It looks fantastic, just a simple pepperoni, but it was clear someone knew what they were doing. Crust was perfectly done. Not greasy either. I had a similar reaction when my wife and I's food arrived. I tried a riff on a classic chicken parmesan, basically the same thing but with Alfredo instead of red sauce. My wife had the cannelloni. Both of which were much better than I've had in similar establishments. The Alfredo tasted homemade and the sauce for my wife's cannelloni tasted like it had been simmering for a good long time.

Unfortunately as we finished our meal there was a bug in the to-go box. A terrible way to end the meal but the staff was quick to fix the issue. All together a really nice experience, we'd...

Me and my husband normally eat here all the time but after this time we will most likely not be returning. We spent over $60 and left a tip, only for our pizza to be cold, burnt, and not even cut. Our salads aren’t even half full.. they’ve never looked like this before. Along with, one of our containers were not fully shut all the way and ended up leaking everywhere. Whenever I called to place the order, the lady wasn’t paying attention to me at all, she kept talking to someone else in the background and laughing, making me repeat my order multiple times.. whenever we went to pick up our order, the lady at the drive-thru window was also very rude. Not to mention, they tried charging us an extra dollar just for a side of ranch even after we paid and tipped. We’ve never had to pay for a side of ranch before and normally I wouldn’t mind but a dollar is ridiculous for a small cup of it. Definitely was not a pleasant experience and I don’t know if we will be returning...
