My wife and I ordered an 8-piece family meal for delivery through the Bojangles app. We get a call well over a half an hour later from a random doordash driver that the restaurant does not have any bone-in chicken, and thus cannot fulfill our order, however they are willing to offer us chicken tenders instead. We were thrown off, because we did not order through DoorDash, but decided to roll with it. Chicken tenders are obviously not equivalent, so we rejected the offer and asked for a refund. We were told we would recieve a refund.
Maybe about two hours later, we get a text message saying our uber driver is on the way with our order, well after we had already made other plans. We did not make an UberEats order, this was a bit off-putting for us. Regardless, the uber driver arrived and delivered two 4-piece chicken tender meals with random sides and drinks, definitely not what we ordered, not equivalent to the cost of the family meal we ordered and still no refund in sight. We had already made alternative dinner plans at this point.
Obviously confused, we called this Bojangles location about the order. First the employee questioned whether we were calling the right Bojangles, which we confirmed through the Bojangles app multiple times. Then they seemed fixed on the idea that we ordered through Doordash so we needed to contact them about the issue. After confirming that was not the case, they still insisted we contact Doordash to rectify the issue. What's even the point of ordering through the Bojangles app if it gets subcontracted through Doordash? Once they realized that the order itself was delivered through an Uber driver, which we received texts as proof from a Bojangles number, they basically appeared to have no idea what was going on and asked us to try to call either Doordash or UberEats to rectify the issue ourselves.
The employee was completely professional and well-meaning throughout this entire exchange, but if this is the kind of quagmire you fall into by ordering directly through the Bojangles app, I can only recommend just skipping the hassle and ordering through Doordash or UberEats instead. If we had done so, we would already have our refund by now and not have to play the "whose fault is it?" game to get...
Read moreI ordered a steak biscuit combo with bo rounds and a sweet tea around 7:30am it’s was only me and one other car there this morning, before I went to work and when I got to work I realized they gave me an egg and cheese biscuit. I called up there and the MANAGER Tim was an amazing help, he was polite and offered me a replacement meal and also a free breakfast meal for me to come back and I accepted and thanked him.. I get up there and some guy isn’t listening to me explain what had happened because he stated that tim had to step out .. he first gave me a sausage biscuit and no rounds, then once I could finally talk and tell him it s wrong (I HAD my receipt which I gave to them, so they could see what I purchased and also to write down my free breakfast meal) HE TOOK MY RECEIPT AND THREW IT AWAY… Then when he finally gave me the correct order which was JUST A STEAK BISCUIT WITH BO ROUNDS AND A SMALL SWEET TEA…. My food was cold, after dealing with all that I just left because I’m nit coming back, I WASTED MY TIME, MONEY, AND GAS from having to come back and fourth. Literally doesn’t make sense but it’s okay I won’t be returning and won’t recommend others come to...
Read moreIf you can avoid going here please do. As a newer Bojangles I’d expect better quality and service. After several visits to this place, they have continued to make a mistake on every order. Today, however I ordered a country ham egg and cheese biscuit 3 times because they continued to try to give me undercooked ham. After showing the woman at the drive thru window (first picture), she walks away calls for a new one and then I am given a bacon egg and cheese. Obviously, this is not what I wanted or paid for so I told her it’s a bacon biscuit (second picture), she walks away with an attitude, to call for another one. In me trying to diffuse the energy I tell her I just want the ham cooked well done, she then proceeds to throw her hand up in a dismissing way and returns with not only an attitude but ANOTHER undercooked country ham (third picture). At this point I drive away and decide to fry it myself at home. This is embarrassing, don’t get a job at fast food or customer service if you can’t deal with people. Don’t get a cooking job if you don’t know how to cook,...
