AVOID THIS PLACE! I ordered the chicken and filet mignon hibachi. The woman (server name on receipt: BOSS) in the plastic cage at the register ask what sauce I would like. She verbally listed a few. I told her ginger but wasn't sure about the others. She asked if I wanted to try the white sauce. I agreed. I didn't like the white sauce so I asked her if I could have a couple more containers of the ginger sauce; she told me it would be an additional $1.50 then pointed to a small sign stating that each extra sauce is 75 cents. Now keep in mind it was at her suggestion that I try the white sauce. Also note the plastic containers are very small and that many other places give you as much as you want; for example, upon request, servers at Little Tokyo leave a bottle of ginger sauce on the table. Have as much as you want at no additional charge. I had also left a $2.00 tip at the time I placed the order with her. The food was mediocre at best. There are so many other Japanese restaurants that are so much better with similar pricing. All the tables inside also appear to have a lot of rust on the bottoms of the table pedestals which I noticed after I sat down. Plastic forks. My husband ordered a Spring Roll, but the order was mistakenly entered as a Shrimp Roll. As he is allergic to shrimp, this error was particularly troubling. Please note he did eat some of the roll and his mouth began itching. Thankfully, he caught it before eating the entire roll. After discovering the mistake, he returned to the counter to inform the staff. Unfortunately, the response from the employee was dismissive and lacked any form of apology or concern.
Given the potential seriousness of this situation, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy shown. If there had been any adverse effects due to this mistake, it would have led to a far more serious outcome.

We live 15 miles from there but do not mind the driving to get great food. The owner is very nice, reasonable pricing and you get a good amount of food. And it's delicious!!
