So I called this location ahead of time to ask when the hot light would come on for the doughnuts, she said in 20 minutes which was perfect since it was 20 minutes away. Got there and no light was on at 6:35pm, the lady taking my order named Tamia was very rude to me and my brother and told us that the hot light would come on after 7pm. I placed my order at 6:43 and went to pay for it got my doughnuts. 6:46pm I’m leaving the parking lot and the hot sign comes on, when I asked her at the window she said no but right after I left they turned it on. I was extremely disappointed with the worker and the management at this location. I really hated the fact we were told the light is going to be on and get there it’s not. If you say it’s going to be on in 20 mins then make sure it’s on for customers in 20 mins. If I could rate this location 0 stars I honestly would! Worst experience I’ve ever went through at this location, every other Krispy Kreme location in the triad are always honest and never rude to their customers. Ordered online. When arriving at the store, $9 worth of items already ordered and paid for were unavailable. I asked for a refund and was told they cannot refund online orders and the store manager would need to do that. Because I was blocking the drive thru I needed to leave but there was no way to provide me proof only a partial order was received! This is unacceptable. A customer should be able to receive an immediate refund if the items prepaid for are unavailable. As of now, the online charge is still for the full amount and the manager has not contacted me for a refund.
If you order and specify it's a special occasion, their version of writing "happy birthday " is to print out the mobile web ticket and tape to the box now. You use to pay $1 for a specialty box and hand written message, but now this is just a lazy way of not providing customer service.
