Every Friday my kids want a happy meal. So every Friday I put up with being asked to pull around to the other side of the building to wait for my food which defeats the purpose of having to stop at the second window.
Tonight was the worst experience I've had with this issue so far. They had so many cars wrapped around the front that to avoid hitting someone who was waiting, I had to drive over the curb. (I had no other choice as I couldn't back up with people coming in behind me). Got to the drive thru speaker box and gave my app code, was told to come to the first window. I noticed that every car in front of me was having to pull around the building to wait for their food. When I got to the second window, of course, I was asked to pull around. I asked what they suggested since the line to go around front was wrapped around to where I could see the car in front of me. I was politely asked to just pull up as far as I could. By the time I got to the actual waiting point, they were already starting to come out with my order.
I want to point out that everyone I interacted with was very pleasant.
I'm not sure if this is a situation where their drive thru wait times are being tracked, but I've had enough of having to pull around every single time I go. I've been asked to pull around during the day in a non rush time as well.
I called corporate because this is ridiculous and it's not fair to the customers. I feel like there will eventually be a car accident because the wait line does impede the amount of room people have to drive into the property. I don't want free food, I don't want a discount, I just want them to know what it's like every time I go and what other customers are experiencing. At this point, just stop using the second window and tell people to pull around the front since this seems to be...
Read moreThe drive through is not well run. 8/1/2023, about 7:30 am - it was not busy. There was a single vehicle in the two lane drive up when I pulled up, so I went to the empty lane. That car placed their order and moved to the pay window while I was waiting to order and then a car that pulled up behind them (again, well after I had been sitting in the other lane) had their order taken. Why have two drive through lanes if you're only going to pay attention to one of them? You really only have one job at a fast food restaurant (trust me, I worked at one for years in high school) and that's handle the customers AS THEY COME but this McDonald's couldn't even manage that. Too many other options available in the area for me to be waiting to order behind someone who pulled in AFTER ME. You lost...
Read moreAsk for a receipt, there receipt printer is broke, check. Ask for sausage cheese egg mcmuffin, check. Ask for sausage egg cheese mcgriddle, check. Go to window, cashier tells me nine dollars and some change. I tell the cashier I thought price was $4.65 for two. Cashier reads order to me, telling me she thought I told her a sausage mcgriddle and sausage egg cheese mcmuffin. I receive my order, should of checked it. Wrong order. The mcmuffin was not toasted and soggy, with a sausage mcgriddle untoasted and soggy. This McDonalds in High Ridge, is very problematic. No matter what the issue is, any other McDonald's always gives me two napkins and a receipt. This McDonald's can't get the order right to hold the fort down. This's my third time at this, McDonald's, and...
