Wendy's — Restaurant in High Ridge Township

Have always had good service from this location until today. Ordered on the app and when I arrived to pick up l, the cashier had issues checking in my order. Tina, the manager on duty came over in a rush pushed some buttons and a receipt came out stating that my order was unpaid. Tried to show the manager my credit card confirmation and was brushed off and told I need to pay and she walked away while I wasid-sentence. Pulled up the app and showed the cashier that the order was marked paid. Mgr came back again and told me her system says I need to pay. Showed her the app again and she asked me to show her my bank account. Showed her the email from my credit card company again and pointed out that I confirmed from two different sources that I had paid, and Im not paying again. She very rudely said she would give me my order, but hopes she doesn't get stuck paying for it herself. Never have I been treated so badly, being accused of trying to steal my lunch! Tina needs a lesson in...

Wendy's is my go to spot. I loved the cheerful attitudes and the personal touch we have experienced for years but the last few visits the atmosphere has changed. The pleasant attitudes have been replaced with get you through and out. Our little lady hostess ( suzy) is no longer greeting everyone with a smile. She is what makes Wendy's dinning in pleasant. Everyone loves her and she loves them. Apparently the new manger feels she's not a asset to Wendy's because when I asked where she has been thinking she was ill but instead he rolled his eyes and said we only use her on Saturday. We use her? I'm sorry the personal touches makes you stand out from other places. Rolling your eyes at someone who can make you smile on your worse day is inappropriate. Ordered a taco salad and an order of chicken nuggets at the drive thru. Did not check the order at time of delivery. There were no other cars ahead of me in line and I didn't see any behind me as I was leaving. Got home to eat and the nuggets were missing, on the receipt but missing. I wasn't going to make the 15 minute trip back up there to retrieve the nuggets. I would, more likely, expect this kind of inaccuracy from the short-staffed Steak N' Shake up the road. But, there seemed to be enough employees at this Wendy's location. The sounds of laughter and camaraderie were loud enough to be heard through the drive-through window.
