Visited B2B on a late Friday night. Food was good but burger was not medium well. Bartender proceeded to try and educate me on how beef is prepared not knowing I have worked in the restaurant industry and have eaten burgers for over 35 years to know what well, medium and medium well looks like. I should have knew something was a foul when my friend and I sat down to eat and the bartender asked was it for here to go and we kind of looked like well we're sitting down to eat. She replies snarkily stating what some people still sit at the bar even though they're taking it to go sorry after Bartending for many years I don't know many people who sit down at the bar and order to go and not say this is To go. In my experience 99% of bartenders assume you are eating there or ask are you folks dining in. To follow it up she was very combative and argumentative. To this end I just said you know what forget the burger I'll just pay for the fries which were served with the burger she still went on the attack. "She proceeded to say what do you want the burger or do you just want the fries? I was asking how you want your burger." Given I had already stated I only wanted fries and did not want to put the restaurant through any trouble to remake the order or waste more food. I wasn't really sure why this bartender continued to badger me. This behavior is not okay to do with Patrons. The saving grace was another bartender who apologized profusely and saw the burger was well cooked and understood what I was stating that I just wanted the fries and to leave. I did not appreciate how I was treated or talked to. My question is where was a manager? Maybe since it was close to closing they were already gone for the day. I will not be returning.
Update * Owner or Manager reached out to me regarding my experience a day or two later. I immediately called left my name and number with the person who answered. No call back , so either the message was never forwarded or no one cares at...
Read moreI don't normally write restaurant reviews but I feel compelled to do so. This used to Naya Bistro and drove by it everyday. I never went to it as Naya as I just didn't feel a connection to it. I was morbidly curious after seeing the name change so I stopped in last week with my friend and two sons to check things out.
I LOVE the creative burger selection. This place (IMHO) put's The B Spot to shame. All four of us ordered a different burger. My guess is it was a 1/2 lb. burger patty. Not one of us was disappointed. Actually, I ordered the "Hot Mess" that comes with habanero cheese but frankly was not the least bit spicy, however I still loved the burger. There are a lot of very unique burgers on the menu, so much so that I have no doubt we will go back over and over to try them all.
The decor was fun yet swanky. Everything appeared to be crisp and clean. It has the bustling atmosphere I would expect from a "burger" place but not overbearing as to not to be able to carry on a conversation with your table. This is NOT a sports bar, it is a fun, gourmet burger restaurant.
The service was perfect. Even though the place was pretty busy, our server was very attentive, A big PLUS!
My only gripe, albeit not a big deal, the actual menu was difficult to read. The font type mixed with the colors made it very hard to read in places. I'm not old (40) and have perfect vision. Someone with less than perfect vision might have difficulty reading it.
Good job, looking forward to...
Read moreDO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT. Horrific burnt burgers and horrible customer service. The new manager,Bob at Burgers 2 Beer in Highland Heights could not have been hired for his customer service skills. We have been loyal customers at this specific B2B since their grand opening and used to rave about the burgers and the customer service. Not anymore! The new manager has ruined any satisfying experience my friends and I have had. A few months ago we ordered 3 Good, Bad & Ugly burgers that were BURNT. Not a little burnt but charred with no flavor. Honestly, our dog wouldn't eat them. Since our order was takeout we didn't realize how bad the burgers were until we arrived home. Called B2B and the manager at that time apologized, told us to return at any time and ask for her and she would replace them. Calling back after a few weeks, Bob is now new manager and said he and the previous manager are friends and he will ask her about it and call me back! Really? Who lies about getting 3 burnt burgers that you have to verify it with someone else? Are you not empowered to make a decision on your own as manager? Weeks go by and the manager Bob never calls me back. I called today, June 28, 2017 and left a message. I got a return call from Bob stating that he spoke to the previous manager and she doesn't recall this incident and that it's been months since this happened and "what do I want him to do?" I know exactly what to do even if Burgers 2 Beer does not...
