This place is the only place that I deem 5 stars. 2020 is looking bright with Happy Sushi as the disco ball. Delicious mochi on your birthday too. Apologize for no pictures as this place was crowded with people and I was having a great time without my phone. The people working there are also the nicest and friendliest. I love how welcoming they are as they deliver you a plate of all sorts of delicious sushi and just make you feel like you might have entered Atlantis. I would like to give a little shout out to Jeff, one if the sushi chefs there. He's hot. When you first walk into Happy Sushi Japanese restaurant, it might seem like some ordinary sushi place, but you'd be wrong to think that. The bright atmosphere from what would be an otherwise gloomy day just shows the amount of effort made to keep customers happy. I personally felt inspired at watching the sushi workers work so hard at there specialties. Did I mention that you can watch the chefs working? Happy Sushi is a pretty far distance from where I am, but it is always worth the effort. If you're looking for a place to eat, or just have a good time, don't hesitate to go down to Happy Sushi...

As a local, Ravinia resident, I'm glad Happi Sushi picked the corner spot for the block after 2 years of being available as new construction. It gives the neighborhood more life and aesthetic. Service was quite relaxed but very friendly, so no complaints. Very Nice, enjoyable Al fresco dining at the corner. Miso soup was enjoyable and the tempura shrimp was delish. The Japanese Ramune soda was unjustifiably priced / expensive at $6 +Tax + tip for a 200ml soda - that needs adjusting even after account for inflation. New Bathrooms are fresh and clean, and I LOVE they are ALL GENDER. However, they really need a paper towel dispenser in there close to the door, otherwise impossible to open the door handle without re-soiling hands after washing. While the fish and avocado is fresh enough, the rice is not great with gummy texture and spongy nori on the inside. Overall, I want them to do very well in the neighborhood and will continue to...

Happy Sushi – A Fresh New Spot Worth Visiting I recently visited Happy Sushi, a newly opened Japanese restaurant, and it exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was stunning, with beautiful windows that let in natural light and a thoughtfully designed interior that felt both modern and welcoming.

The food was outstanding, easily surpassing other sushi places in the area. We ordered a mix of dishes, including Rice Crackers, Yellowtail Sashimi, and a variety of specialty rolls like the Crunch Dragon, Fire Dragon, and Godzilla Roll. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and impeccably presented.

If you're looking for a top-tier sushi experience in a gorgeous setting, I highly recommend giving Happy...

Happi is a great local spot if you're in the Ravinia or Botanic Garden area to grab some quality sushi at a casual and fun environment! They have some great chef special entrees featuring enough rolls to fill you up at an unbelievable deal! The servers are great as well, and the location really convenient being right across from the Ravinia Metra Station! I'd definitely recommend visiting if you're in the mood for some sushi!!
