Judy's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Highland Park

Probably the worst customer service experience my family has had on the North Shore. My husband ordered online, put in a coupon code that he had, and paid the full amount (which was correct given the coupon he used). He went to the store to pick up our order and was told he hadn't paid. He showed them the online transaction with the total and the coupon. They told him he owed another $30 (ridiculous) and claimed that he had only partially paid. He told them it wasn't even possible to partially pay as it wasn't an option online and he paid the full amount after having use the coupon. They told him they didn't believe him that there was a coupon (even though the code clearly worked) and stated that he needed to drive all the way home and get the physical coupon and bring it back. If I had been the one picking up, I would've just asked for a refund and left them there with all that food rather than drive home. My husband, being a better person than I am, went home, got the coupon went back to the store and showed it to them. They were extremely rude to him. Despite all his hassle, he never received an apology for what was clearly their error. By the time he got back home again the food was cold and gross. They really shouldn't offer online ordering and payment if they're not able to understand their own ordering system and coupons. Needless to say we'll never order from Judy's again. This disappoints me because we're frequent customers and enjoy their food. However, there are too many amazing pizza options on the North Shore to put up...

I would highly recommend trying this place! Judy’s Pizzeria is the best! Their double-decker pizza is absolutely worth trying! It is so incredibly delicious, unique, and very tasty. Most of their customers really like it. They also have other flavors and they have a huge variety of food selections. They have different kinds of sandwiches, chicken wings, salads, fries, tacos, and beverages. All of it has a reasonable price and is more affordable compared to the pricing of other food spots around the area. Absolutely the best pizza place here in Highland Park. The portions here are great and large. Their customer service is amazing! All of their staff is good, polite, and helpful. They are always attentive and willing to help the customers. They also served the orders on time. They are also entertaining and fun to be with. Everyone at this place is really nice and decent. The managers and staff are professional! Outstanding customer service! Visit this place and you will never be disappointed. You can save a lot here compared to going to other spots. You can also order when you are at home, they deliver too. Since my recent move from Chicago, finding a local pizza joint has been a must, having grown up with some of the best. Judy’s Pizza has become my new go-to spot—I kid you not, I can't even remember the name of my favorite Chicago place anymore.🫣

The ingredients at Judy’s are always fresh, and they offer such a fantastic range of toppings. Plus, if you're in the mood for something lighter, their salads slay just ans hard and are reasonably priced. Whether you prefer double-decker or thin crust, you can't go wrong with any choice on their menu.

But here’s what sets Judy’s apart for me: the owner and his family. They truly go above and beyond to show their love for our community. Recently, they made a generous contribution to my son’s preschool’s annual fundraiser, and that’s just the beginning. Judy’s also participates in Deerfield’s school lunch programs, works concessions at the local pools in Summer, and partners with various nonprofits. (Did I mention they cater too? 😉)
