Reason for closure: Cockroach infestation. The inspector visited in response to a complaint that a customer saw two live roaches, which a bartender washed down a sink. The owner was aware of the problem and said they were working on eliminating it; however, the last pest-control service had been Oct. 16. The inspector found live and dead roaches throughout the kitchen and bar, but wrote that the owner was refusing to close and “stated that the (health department’s) ‘Notice of Closure’ sign will be removed once posted at the entrance of the facility and that he will continue to operate this facility after the suspension of his health permit.” He was warned that failure to comply could result in further action, including a permanent permit revocation. The nachos I had were made 95 percent with the pump cheese similar to gas stations. They melted a little real cheese on it just to make it seem like it was made with real shredded cheese. The nachos are listed with sour cream, but did not have sour cream. I had to ask. Salsa should have been automatic, but no salsa. The margaritas were very refreshing, but very light on alcohol and cost $9.50 during happy hour hours. I was there between 5 & 6 pm. I guess they do not have a happy hour..... The regulars were clearly more important, and when she asked if I needed anything else, I said no, and she literally said, "excellent", as if she were glad to be rid of me. I was in no way difficult. The bartenders were rude. An incident happened and the female bartender started being overly rude to me yelling behind the bar super loud. It was disrespectful and unnecessary. Especially after a crowd of ppl already tried jumping me. The ppl who attend this bar ride together and think they’re crazy bcuz they all knew each other. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all for any reason. That’s not the only time that ppl acted up in there bcuz they had a large group.
