Highland Diner — Restaurant in Highland

We had 3 people. We ordered 3 meals with 3 soft drinks. Soft drinks include free refills. The total with tax and 3% debit card fee came out to $69.00.

I came home and looked at the menu online. After adding all our items together based off the menu prices, adding tax and 3% debit card fee, the total should have been $40.80.

When I called, I was told the menu prices online were wrong. The difference I was told on the phone vs what the menu said online was between $2.00-$4.00.

So, I went back into the diner, looked at their menus and yes, the prices were different than the prices online but they were also different than what I was told on the phone.

Our total, based on menu in diner, plus tax and 3% debit card fee should have been $49.80. We were charged $69.00 and are unable to get a refund without what seemed to feel like a big FBI...

Decided to stop in here with parents. I believe our servers name was Jaycee - she was awesome. Not only to us but also to surrounding tables. She was informative and had a fabulous personality. And she worked her butt off, never standing still. We ordered - the western omelet - all meets and veggies. Was perfect. Eggs, hashbrowns and wheat toast. - everything was cooked perfectly. French dip- eh - I probably wouldn't order it again. It was cold for starters and then the meat wasn't the typical French dip meat. So it wasn't horrible - but nothing i would order a second time. French fries came out after our meal and were hot and definitely fresh. Atmosphere was awesome and the decor was vintage ... Loved it. Overall great little place that people are coming and going. Prices were in range and not going to break the bank...

The food portions are kind of gigantic, so bring an appetite and maybe don’t eat anything the day before you go eat there.. other than that pretty good service as far as speed goes. The pancakes were pretty raw I won’t order those again. But everything else I’ve had since then is on par with what I would expect to have. When a pancake is the size of a dinner plate that’s kind of an issue because it tends to not cook very well. I also had an omelette which was OK and some French toast on separate occasions and no issues with them I just think the pancakes are definitely too heavy on...
