Four Boys Ice Cream Hightstown — Restaurant in Hightstown

Extremely disappointing. We’ve been happily going to Four Boys in Jamesburg for many years (lots of great memories with the kids!) so we decided to try the Four Boys in Hightstown. The portion sizes are WAAAAAAY smaller and the ice cream is not as creamy. Pictured here are two medium sized cones for $10.15. I was shocked at the size because they didn’t look like the typical medium you get at the one in Jamesburg. I hate that this poor experience tainted my love of Four Boys that the one in Jamesburg brought to me. If you like getting lesser quality ice cream, smaller portions, and less return on your investment then this is your place. Otherwise, go to the Four boys in Jamesburg where happy...

Been here at least half dozen times & it's really hit or miss. Asked for black & white malt, had no idea what I was talking about or what is malt Another time girl knew what malt was but put in so much it wasn't enjoyable. Requested another time for coffee shake, no milk to make shakes, couple days later they had milk but no coffee ice cream. Few times I actually got what I wanted it was good but...

Four Boys has always been one of our favorite ice cream shops and we're so glad they opened up in Hightstown (and it's a year-round location)! Portions are generous and their flavors are terrific (don't be afraid to try the "kid" flavors like cookie monster... It's fantastic). Also we love their cakes and ice cream sandwiches, especially their monthly specials...
