I wanted to leave my honest review on this place. I was browsing for new chicken food places to find after the service I received from the previous place called roaming rooster gave me terrible service. So I gave chick-A-Licious. For my first time enetering, Ive encountered an employee by the name of Wachelle. She is very friendly as she greeted me in a kind manner and took my order and she was very helpful in terms of what is the best meal to order and even listed out the prices as well which definitely helped out a lot. Also, she was. very patient and understanding as for a first time customer it's a lot of options to choose from. Upon receiving my order she politely asked if I needed any condiments or napkins which was very kind of her cause other employees will be reluctant to. Overall, she's the best employee I've encountered there. My second time going there, Ive encountered an employee named Jay. There was no line in the place and he brushed me off as if he didn't want to take my order so I had to wait a few minutes before he took my order despite there wasn't a line. When he took my order he was suggesting me what I should order instead of me telling him what I should order and he had an aggressive attitude and I wasn't too fond of that either. After we finally had a discussion and he agreed on what I wanted to order, I received my food and I had left. In conclusion, The food is great that I will say. I don't have no complaints aside from the small portion of fries they give. you. It's a hit or miss depending on the day and the employee you'll encounter. However, if you decide to go I would definitely ask for Wachelle as she is the most kindest and well-mannered...
Read moreI live right in the middle of D.C. surrounded by some of the best restaurants in this region of the country. It takes a lot to impress me…but this place blew me away!
The chicken sandwiches were amazing! My gf got the “More Mustard Chicken” sandwich and I got the “Honey & Butter for a Change”. Perfectly sauced and REAL, juicy chicken. Not the crazy overbreaded and dry garbage you get at a fast food place.
The fries were perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of crispy.
My GF got the Oreo shake, and it was the perfect amount of thickness, thin enough that you still get it up the straw, but not the thin soupy mess a lot of places make. And look how pretty it is!
The staff was super friendly, they even offered us a free sample of their Half and Half (half mango lemonade, half normal lemonade) which, again, was amazing. The cleanliness of both the dining room and bathroom was top notch, you can tell the owner cares about their business.

Read moreThe food was pretty good, but was overshadowed by the horrible customer service. The lady at the register working in the evening with the bonnet and mask on had a HORRIFIC attitude. I greeted her upon entry and she acted as if she had never tried any of the food, couldn't make a recommendation, and did not want to be there. Usually I am understanding of bad days, but she went out of her way to make my experience tough. I paid for a ranch and asked for an extra when I left, and she rudely said “That’s $0.79”, (which wouldn't have caused alarm if I hadn't seen she just given another customer 2 ranches for free). Then when I got home I saw the ranch container was less than 10% filled. It felt intentional.
Other than that, the men cooking in the back were working hard and the food looked freshly prepared. The sandwiches were good and the lemonade was tasty. Fries were fresh cut. I would have eaten here again if the customer...
