IHOP — Restaurant in Maryland

I did not have the best experience for my first time at this IHOP location. I was greeted and seated promptly, however the server took 12 minutes before coming to my table to take my drink order. When she arrived, she took my drink and food order and then I waited for my food...and waited...and waited. When my food finally came, I noticed that the couple who sat down approximately 10 minutes after me, received thwir food before I received mine. While eating, my server never came to my table to see if i needed anything until I was almost completely done with my meal. At that time I asked for the check. She promptly brought my check after I requested it, however she took very long to come back to my table to pick up the check. I must add that I went to this establishment at 1030am and although it was crowded, it did start clearing out not long after I had been sitting there waiting for my food. I noticed other servers being very attentive to their customers, when mine was not. I understand long wait times for food, however, I do not understand lack of customer service skills from a server. My server was Tianna R at Ihop #521. I would not recommend nor would I come back to this particular IHOP location. On a positive note: my food tasted very good and was hot...

This time my experience was totally different, the hostess or person that greet you and sit you at your table was young and a bad attitude, it was congested in the entryway so I left and went to IHOP on St. Barnabas Rd, Maryland once we arrive there it also was also wait but this establishment is a lot smaller in the entryway and also congested overflow with the takeout orders, but I waited outside until seated once seated our waitress took our order everything was prepared as order and enjoyed but when the time came for the check I was being overlooked by my waitress. She was going and serving the tables in front, behind plus across from me so I raised my hand and she still ignore until finally the manager came over and I asked him for the check my girlfriend left her a tip for her on the table which I said to her that I wouldn't left her a tip, at first I was off I didn't know what her problem was or if she had an issue with me but while I was walking to the cashier to pay it dawn on me, my girlfriend also gave the young lady who clear off and clean the tables she gave her also a tip and I b'lieve that the (waitress) didn't approve so my girlfriend went back and gave the young lady more. • Updated Review As Of March 2019: I have not been able to come by this location for almost a year....But I was glad to be able to come by to eat here again recently. I was very stressed out about a personal matter and I knew this would be the perfect place for me to chill, relax, and get some great food. In addition, I am fortunate to have known two of their fantastic Managers, Ms. Sharon and Mr. Seymour for a lot of years. As usual, this visit did not disappoint. I had the sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. They make some of the most delicious and freshest Egg Dishes I Have Ever Had In My Life and their Pancakes always melt in my mouth. They carefully package To Go Orders too so I never have to worry about my food or drinks being damaged due to poor packaging. And That Sound/Music System?????? OMG! Even though I have satellite radio in my home, the satellite music system in this IHOP is better than Any I have ever heard at a business, including Dance Clubs. And I Am Now Happily Addicted To Their Spashberry softdrink.
