I live in hilliard and I will never be going back to Five.5 Grill. I was served salt with a side of major attitude. My order was so salty I could not eat it (gator and onion rings). The lady who was offering me to replace my meal acted like it was just me saying "they don't add salt" she was implying I just don't like salty foods. I love onion rings and it's sad when a place like Wendy's can serve better onion rings. I eat the blooming onion every time I go to Texas Roadhouse. Their's are never too salty to eat. This lady acted like I was incompetent for simply saying it was too salty. I was not rude about it but I spent nearly $20 on something I couldn't eat. A waste of my money and time. The next day I had it replaced with steak tips to which I did not eat either because I watched the lady enter the kitchen and pull down her face mask. She sounded sick and watching them violate so many kitchen safe rules disgusted me to the point I lost my appetite. My sister got a milkshake on and the woman scooping was not wearing gloves and she was sniffling. It seems like half the staff working were sick. In horror, I made sure to take pictures. I hope the entire place gets a clean wipe of employees and I hope a code enforcer makes an unexpected...
Read moreWhere do I start ? We entered the door a party of 5 . Asked to be seated at a table not under the fan. The girl at the front acted like she didn't want to clean the table off . We asked about a booth and would just add a chair at the end of the table. She stated that would be a fire hazard and couldn't do that. But right in front of us at the door was a table with the chair on the side in the isle. She proceeded to clean a table off right under a fan. She said your waitress will be with you and walked off .We sat down and it was after 20 minutes and a request for a waitress we had our order taken. Wings were not breaded and were asked to be twice. Waitress asked if we wanted to have them re done but of course at this point and attitude from the start we said no.Tea refills had to be asked for and that took another 15 minutes only when we stopped another waiter walking by and again asked for tea. The food was good but the experience was awful. We will not be back here. Do better with your customer service. If your hostesses and waitresses don't like dealing with requests from customers maybe this isn't the...
Read moreMy family was traveling through Hilliard, FL headed to Hinesville, GA. We stopped at Five .5 Grille an hour about closing. This place is tucked in a small strip mall and isn’t anything fancy. It is a mix of diner/sporty bar. There were tv mounted around the dining area, an ice cream shop area, and quarter games: like a gum ball machine and claw machine. It seemed a place we’d bring our kids. There was even a framed prayer on the wall, we prayed before our meal. The waitress was friendly and prompt with getting drinks, our order, and all-around great service. We are huge water drinkers but the water was nasty. It was too late for a soda, so we ordered a beer. Beer has a minimal selection but it was fine. There were so many options on the menu. We ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and the Pickle Cheeseburger. Man, these burgers were great, huge, and messy! I loved the paper towels for napkins, just like home. The portions were large. I would definitely recommend this place and will stop by driving through Hilliard. Ask the staff the reason for the name of...
