I have been going to this Godfather's off and on for many years, I like to play the machines once in awhile . The manager owner was wonderful happy Pleasant always talking and smiling. Not the case anymore apparently. I stopped in to play and was there about 15 minutes and I won a ticket. So I went up to the gal at the desk and asked to cash it. She said hold on I can't cash it I'll get someone that Can. A Couple minutes later I feel someone behind me and I turn around and it's a girl I had not seen and she had a very angry look on her face and started lecturing me mid-sentence what I heard was don't ever disrespect my employees again I will cash this ticket this time but don't ever do that again.blah blah blah I'm not sure of the actual words it took me a minute to catch on that she was talking to me and as soon as I understood what she was saying I went to the counter to get the other girl and asked what the heck is going on I did not say anything bad whatsoever I said why would I. Apparently the girl said I said to her when she was going to get someone to cash the ticket was "you guys should have a sign up for customers" and blah blah blah I don't remember the next part but it was something rude towards her. I really don't recall what I was actually being accused of saying at that point it didn't matter because I had not done it . They just kept insisting I did and then I was getting frustrated after telling them over and over for 5 minutes they're mistaken. It's like being on a junior high school yard or something not a supposed manager of a restaurant . So anyway of course I got my money and left and it wasn't until I almost got home when I realized what I did say because at the time I had no clue I didn't remember saying anything. What I said when she said she would go get someone was.... Okay I'm going to go put a sign up on my machine because I have money in it. Number one you should never approach customers like that and number two there's always two sides to a story and to just take her employees side like that and come up to a customer's face is just unreal when I was in Customer S1ervice that would not fly not even close. Of course I asked for her manager and she said she's it and I said well you answer to some on the general manager who and she said no Im it. So I thought whatever I had to leave a review because it was just ridiculous it was embarrassing and it just...
Read moreSo to start out, the delivery was on time and the delivery guy was polite, so that's good (and the main reason for a second star, so props to him). That's also where the good part ends.
Upon setting down the food, we saw that the ham pizza had been overcooked (to the point most of the cheese was browned, but that happens so it's not a big deal), and the cinnamon monkey bread was covered in little candy sprinkles (this one needed fixed but we figured they must have done it for Easter, so again no big deal). They had also failed to include the parmesan and red pepper packets, which had been requested as part of the order.
Upon calling into the store to have the monkey bread fixed and have the packets delivered, the manager claimed that the monkey bread has always had sprinkles (that it has since he started working 10 years ago), and was initially only offering $5 off our NEXT purchase... without wanting to fix their error. We had to point out that since both the picture and the description online don't include candy sprinkles then it's false advertisement to get them to fix their error. With this extra difficulty all they did was replace the bread, without anything else to help reconcile for the arguing (and blatant lie). They also said it'll be a 1- time thing and in the future we'll have to call in to specify "No sprinkles" (preventing the online route that often has...
Read moreLet's talk about the Taco Pizza. Not the upsell gourmet taco pizza, the regular one. Throw some chip crumbs on there before the lettuce, it'll help with the texture transition between solid pizza and watery vegetable. Tortilla chips are fine, add some inexpensive spices from the back of a Doritos bag for some kick, and crush those and put em right on there with the cheese so it melts. Then add lettuce and tomatoes, the two deli chilled ingredients last. Also feel free to include more kidney beans in the taco meat mixture at the base.
I'll just explain the taco pizza we used to serve where I worked, which I believe was slightly superior. One hand-formed medium thickness dough. One layer of butter, then another of taco mix which was salsa, taco-seasoned beef and kidney beans together. Next was the cheese mix, moz with a little smoked provolone. The we added crushed tortilla chips mixed with Nacho Cheese Doritos (4:1), and on top of that was iceberg lettuce and around 9 slices of fresh tomatoes. You're so close, but missing the essential ingredients that make your taco pizza as filling and satistfying as, say, an entire meat pizza. Thank you what I had was...
