I just want to preface this by saying I live 2 HOURS AWAY in Austin, and over this past weekend 7/29/2023, I was on my way to Dallas to see a friend and attend her bridal shower. On my way up there I unfortunately experience some car trouble, but luckily was able to pull into this Wendy’s parking lot, and because there were zero mechanics open I was unable to get it towed anywhere. I asked the manager (Tammy I think it was?) if I could leave the car overnight (before I realized mechanics weren’t open on Sunday either), she was hesitant to begin with, but she said it was fine. Fast forward to the next day when I’m back in Austin (because I’m service industry and I work on the weekends) I come to the realization that of course mechanics aren’t open on Sundays, so I call the Wendy’s immediately about the situation and apologize for any inconvenience that it may have. I said I’d be there to pick it up on Monday 7/31/2023, and I’m not sure what I did to be met with little to no compassion, but the same vile manager I spoke to the day before sharply asked me when I’d be able to come get it towed. I told her my goal was to get it out before 12… I kid you not this awful sea witch of a human had a tow truck there at 12:01, luckily for me the tow truck I called was there first. So I truly hope no one has the misfortune of having car troubles on the weekend and ending up in this terrible manager’s parking lot because even though they’re definitely not hurting for parking spots clearly this old hag has nothing better to do. It’s unfortunate because I work in the service industry and if someone came into our restaurant with the same situation we’d have no problem letting them leave their car in our parking lot… and we ACTUALLY get business. So thanks but no thanks… whoever the despicable and miserable woman is that is running the Wendy’s off of Old...
Read moreExtremely disappointed! The crew tonight 9/27/20. A previous night a different if not the same crew made a mistake on our order.. missing items. So we came back a different night to replace the order. So we had spoke with Aaron on the phone he said that's all we need to get a replacement. While in an empty drive-thru Stephanie specifically said we need a name to replace your meal. Aaron said you don't need that just say Aaron. Anyway I had to go inside and speak to GM, Stephanie, which she did not seem happy NOR did the other employees. Everyone was quiet, you could tell they were probably talking about me (or the situation) I walked out for a moment and when I came back in a gentleman gave me my food. I said oh thank you I'm waiting on my drinks. Which they were out of tea at 7pm? The gentleman on the ladder said "they're working on your tea please gives a moment" so I waited AND overhead the GM and another employee say "just give pour it in mix it and give it to them" as if I was making a big deal. (Which was super sweet so I didn't care to even say anything) I would say I was very calm and upfront about the mistake we didn't do in the first place. Then we I got my drinks the girl just handed the drinks and said "here you go" nothing else. No "I'm sorry for what happened please forgive us and come back again" I didn't feel welcome nor welcomed back. I had to call and speak to a different "manager" because I'm sure my name was on caller ID so maybe they didn't want to talk to me which is very childish? That is how you get business and keep it. Food is food. But I know for a fact that everyone there would NOT like that customer service we just received. I don't even feel like they care even though I was being calm about it. Even after a phone call. I've dealt with angry people and I wasn't...
Read moreI stopped at this location in Hillsboro, TX this morning on my way to Dallas, and I simply ordered the 2 for $3 deal, which I have gotten at many different Wendy's locations in the past. I asked for 1 sausage biscuit and 1 egg & cheese biscuit. When they tried to tell me the total was $6.50, I told them that it shouldn't be that much, but the rude woman at the drive-thru speaker first tried to tell me it was that much because of tax...Lol! I told her it should be $3.25 total, but then she told me that they don't offer that deal (even as I was looking straight at it on their drive-thru menu board)! I could tell she was either new and didn't know what she was doing or was possibly just not trained properly! I could have overlooked that issue, but when she continued to give me a smart-aleck attitude and tell me that I had asked for something else (which I didn't), and then act annoyed as she told me to just pull forward to the second window, I decided I did not want to spend my money with this business! I proceeded to leave and go next door to Taco Bell and got a much better deal for breakfast! I looked back over at Wendy's (which still had no other cars in the drive-thru) and noticed that the manager and the rude woman were outside looking at their drive-thru menu. The manager was most likely explaining to her that they DO offer the 2 for $3 deal! I just laughed and thought that it would have been a much better experience for everyone if she had trained her properly in the first place and explained that it is not that difficult to just be friendly to customers instead of treating them like they are an annoyance! Too late!...
