When we walked into this Chipotle my boyfriend was so excited because when he lived here in high school with his parents there never was one. Unfortunately for us, it was not an experience worth the wait.
The line was pretty short for a Chipotle during dinner time so we thought it would be a quick line. I’m sure you’ve guessed it - we were wrong. After telling the first employee I wanted tacos with chicken, he passed the bowl along and there were 5 people in front of me with 8 different bowls. I think the guy in the front was a to-go order because there was another employee running in and out of the entire food line furiously making bowls and packaging to-go sides. This poor guy waited awhile before he got his order which prevented the rest of us from completing our orders due to the number of bodies in front of us.
Then there were two girls waiting to pay for their food, each separately and the cashier couldn’t figure out how to use his own register or swipe a gift card. I swear I watched him swipe the card the wrong way three times before he realized it wasn’t working.
After the two girls paid there was a pair of two guys who had three bowls. After they finished asking for their final toppings, they asked for three bags of chips and I’ve never been more sad in my life about Chipotle chips. There were none prepared and instead of doing it himself, the cashier asked the to-go runner to do it... and then he waited there until the guy finished all three bags instead of helping.
When it was finally my time to get my toppings all I had asked for was cheese and not only did I get basically the entire bin, I also got some lettuce that the girl had accidentally dropped in there from earlier orders. She even looked down at my tacos after putting all the cheese on there and didn’t take the lettuce off. It didn’t kill me to have it there but I’m not sure how she didn’t notice.
It took my boyfriend a few minutes to pay because again, the cashier couldn’t figure anything out.
Then as we were eating, the cashier was cleaning the tables and such while a line was building for both to-go orders and walk-in orders.
I’m seriously so amazed. I live in New York City and those Chipotles are cleaner, faster and the employees know what they are doing. I never thought I’d see the day where a NYC location of anything was better than a suburb location.
All in all I think they need to retrain or replace the cashier as that was where the bottleneck was; they also need to train the FOH employees to take more care when making orders.
I’d go back after they’ve been around longer and had the chance to get...
Read moreMy fiance came in and purchased 2 chicken rice bowls. We had sour cream, corn, peppers, guacamole, mild salsa, and lettuce. I took 4 bites and realized that the sour cream was spoiled. I began vomiting and then i heard my fiance vomiting as well and asked him was it because of the sour cream and he said yes. I began to become hot and my stomach began to cramp. I went to urgent care the next day. They tested my stole and said the bacteria from sour cream had cross contamination in it. That's why I ended up sick for 3 days and my fiance was sick for 2. We saved the rest of the food to prove it to the restaurant what had happened and the manager who barely spoke any English and was super young said thier was NOTHING they could do about it. She at first started that she didn't believe we got the food from there even though it was in thier original container and then my fiance showed her his credit card statement proving the purchase. She still didn't believe him and asked for his receipt (which he had vomited all over because it was in the paper bag we got to go). So he said I will bring you the vomit receipt if you like and she refused. We never got our money back. No apology. NOTHING. Called the phone number they gave me and left a message. NOTHING. Yall please save your hard working money and cook at home. They don't care about our health. They have young kids who can care less working here. On thier cellular phones and then touching utensils. Nobody washing thier had after touching thier phones. Sour cream temperature sitting low. I will never come here again. Not even a...
Read moreAlways double check your order and receipt before you leave the store…I was ordering from this chipotle with no issue until the beginning of 2024 where they have now messed up all 4 orders I’ve made this year. The staff is very poorly managed. The manager is the worst. Had two consecutive mobile app orders with missing items which I didn’t realize until I got home the third time I opened the bag while I was there to find two missing entrées. Luckily I was still there so the manager opened five different bags to try and find my missing entrées and cobbled together my order, and never even said sorry for the mixup. The 4th visit we put the order through in-person to ensure there wouldn’t be any screwup just to get home and realize that they actually charged us for an extra entrée. When my wife went back, the manager said she should’ve checked the receipt before she left. That’s not what a person wants to hear after driving 10 minutes back-and-forth because of your incompetency. Dear manager, you don’t belong in the service industry. You are either Shiesty or completely incompetent, I’m not sure which is worse. I wish Chipotle corporate would fire the manager so that we could get back on track without having to go to Bridgewater for decent chipotle. And I don’t like to see anybody out of a job. I just don’t know how with all the negative reviews that chipotle corporate doesn’t take action. I would lose my job if I messed...
