My experience at the Hillsborough Goodwill location has always been positive! The location is convenient, clean, and well organized. The prices are very fair, and the store manager is warm, kind, welcoming, and professional. Perhaps those who complain about the size of the space should consider the fact that this is a charity shop and store rental spaces are quite costly. It is most adventageous they are able to provide both a retail space as well as a donation space at one location, thereby contributing to sustainability by giving shoppers the opportunity to give items a second life. Bad mouthing a charitable donation retail space due to its size and therefore quantity of offerings seems in poor taste. Read moreI don’t know how this even qualifies as a goodwill store- there is legit a single “aisle”, if you can even call it that. There was a cart outside the store, I put my toddler son in and walked in- as I have done several other goodwill locations. Upon entrance, I was asked where I got a cart from and then told by an employee no carts allowed. It does look small from the outside but that does not bother me because I typically stop by to donate, not shop.
