Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

I honestly wish I could give this store a negative number. I've never had anyone in customer service be so rude. We loved the pizza and I even told the employee and the manager the same. Unfortunately, we didn't get the Pepsi when the order was delivered. I explained this to the manager and asked for a refund on the Pepsi. I was told I could come pick it up or get a credit for the HH Papa John's. I explained I was on vacation and that wouldn't work. I was told it wasn't their fault the Pepsi wasn't delivered but Door Dash bc they are the ones who delivered the order. I explained that I didn't choose Door Dash to deliver and asked how it became my fault that a Pepsi wasn't delivered when I was the customer? The manager hung up on me. I called back and asked an employee for the name of the manager. She told me the manager's name was Allison. I asked for her last name and the employee said she didn't know it (haha). I asked if she could get it for me. I told me I was being rude and she was hanging up too...byyyyyyeee. Not sure how a delivery fail became my fault and I got hung up on twice....worst customer...

Normally, PJ's would get a 2-3 stars from me. I'm not a fan of corporate pizza really. But I literally spent TWO days looking for a decent pizza place that would deliver to my hotel. One of them was blocks away from me, but wouldn't deliver until 4 PM. Many didn't deliver at all. Uber Eats charges seven freakin fifty to bring food to me, with a 35 dollar minimum. You gotta be kidding me. The local delivery service had a disclaimer on their website that said "we MAY charge more for an item than what it shows on the restaurant's menu What in the actual F is that about???

Did Papa John's make the best pizza in the world? Hell NO. Did they show up on time? no, they were four minutes past the promised time. Big Deal. They didn't pretend to be something they weren't, nor charge an arm and a leg because they were a fancy craft pizza joint in a tourist town.

Five stars, Papa Johns. best in town, not because you're the best, but because everyone else tied...

This is bar far the worst papa johns I have ever dealt with. After a 12 hour drive, we ordered delivery, BOTH pizzas were wrong. They were also both supposed to be light sauce, and they were not. I called expecting friendly service, asked to speak to Manager, who gave no name and initially said she would replace the pizza (which by the way was for my cold with autism) who was SO upset because we didn’t eat, and so exhausted from the trip, but manager (without name given) said she would resend pizza but it would be 2 hours, ummm so that would be midnight and my child will be asleep, so I politely asked her if we could pick it up tmrrw if no other option, she then said they would not replace any pizza and hung up on me! I have never seen a more irresponsible manager! I have never had worse service, and apparently they don’t care if the customer gets what they order. I will be speaking with the district manager as well as corporate office. Trust me go...
