OD Crab House — Restaurant in Hinesville

The atmosphere was alright, and the waitress was overall nice and waited for when we were ready to order and all, but the quality of the food has declined to date from this time last year. I came in for my favorite birthday steak (8oz ribeye on the menu) and literally could have gotten the same quality as Huddle House. I'm not even exaggerating. The thickness, texture, and taste was very bland. This is absolutely unlike a professional crabhouse that offers top notch competition for the region in steaks and seafood. When looking at my steak, the waitress seemed to tell I had a disgust in facial expression and an intrepidation about my acceptance of the steak (especially as a genuine steak typical of what I had at the same place in past), and stated in a joking manner "haha he came to a seafood house and ordered steak, what did he think he was going to get?" As if to insinuate that when I came to a seafood place and ordered a steak, I should not have set my expectations any higher than the overpriced dollartree steak sitting in front of me. As disappointed as I kinda already was, I really did not need to hear that statement. It truly ticked me off. I am here as a paying customer who knows the houses in the area. I have critiqued many steakhouses, steak and seafood houses, seafood houses, and farmhouses in this region. OD's was one of my top 5 favorites until today. Last I remembered I should have had no issue and simply enjoyed my birthday steak. Yet, I could have gotten better quality at a cheaper price for more food from the chain restaraunt, or buffet across the street. Shame!!! Getting a steak at a Seafood restaurant is NO excuse for what I got tonight. As a professional customer of such places, to hear a waitress say such a statement hinting to the very lack of quality, tells me that the establishment knows what they did or are doing, which further empowers my reason for such a review today. To summarize, the broccoli and sweet potato fries were good, The sweet tea was old, and The 8oz steak resembled similarities to a Bojangles pork chop. The entire plate of food in quality was not worth any more than the plate on which it was served. Sadly, I will not...

We went out of our way to go here tonight and as we walked in the door I noticed there was problems and conflict about seating and a waitress named Jordan said she would seat us in her area so they did she came back and took our order and brought us our teas and then went and grabbed us some straws. Then we sat there and watched other tables getting up from their seats to get their own drinks and then another table had to get up and get their forks and their teas. So we got our food and his was wrong so we sent it back as I ate we waited and waited on his food for about 30 min. Finally got his food and we still didnt get the sides that came with it. So as we sat there and he finally got his food we noticed another table get up and get their drinks and send their food back. They got up and walked out. The table that was behind us never got the correct food and was currently waiting on their bill. We were never told our waitress walked out until after all of this happend then ALL of the employees / managers blamed all these problems on 1 waitress. We finally got our bill and it wasn't right they charged us for double the amount of what we ordered. So they went to fix it then they said they were giving us a discount. But as I went to get it straight I was talking to a Manager and as I was talking to the Manager another waitress started interrupting us as I was trying to explain the issues.She is an Employee and the Manager never told her you dont argue with the customers they are paying your paycheck. tonight 6 tables left this place angry and had to waitress there ownself when you go out they are supposed to wait on you. All we heard was excuses blaming all the problems on one person. This is a business What happend to.the customer is right. We were never asked what was wrong, we were never asked if there was anything they could do to help us. Nothing they just kept blaming everything on one girl. I believe they need to call Jordon back and apologize because she needs to come back and the others need to be fired. One girl said this Ain't McDonald's you can't have...

I walked into the building and it was quiet. I wasn't properly greeted with a welcome smile or a greeting as expected {if I was I didn't hear it.} The interior design was cool and very spacious. I felt as if I was down in the bayou. The staff are friendly and hard working even though there weren't many people inside eating. I want to thank the workers that keep the place clean and sanitized our lives are depending on their attention to detail and cleanliness. The bar 😱 fully stocked and ready (I like that.) {Although I can buy a bottle for the price of one drink in this restaurant it feels good to have a restaurant welcome both me and my alcoholism with open arms} Alot of laughter and clean fun. I can't wait to come back for happy hour.

The food: I ordered the basket that consists of shrimp and hot wings. The shrimp👌👌I ate the tail and all and the hot wings were good as well. I have a word of advice the server should ask the customer "What flavor of wings would you like?" I didn't get a good view of the menu thanks to PUBG Mobile but I was satisfied with the wings. Although there needs to be a hotter flavor of wings to choose from. Spicy, spicy spicy, spicy spicy spicy, spicy spicy spicy spicy spicy spicy, bro your crazy, how about no, welcome to hell flavor.

March 27,2022. 5.36pm (I literally got up and fixed my own drink🤷): I asked for a refill 30mins ago.......didn't get it.....so I had to get up out of my seat and get one . -1 star ....I would do half stars but obviously Google doesn't do it.

6:00 p.m I saw a fly 6:43 p.m. I had a photoshoot with the fly .....his name is "George"

April 3,2022 I stayed for about an hour. Positive comments to the cooks because there was a massive party of 12 that the cooks had to prepare food for. 👍👍👍👍 Great job everyone.... + 1 star.....I noticed...
