Today on April 14th at 11:30 a.m my family and I went to eat breakfast at this WH location. It was the worst experience we have ever had. The manager was doing her own thing, she wasn’t delegating tasks to the staff. The staff looked angry and unmotivated. We waited 30 minutes to be seated and the place wasn’t full!!! There were approximately 4 tables that weren’t cleaned off. All of the staff walked by the tables and ignored the fact that there were still dirty plates/napkins waiting to be cleared. I had to clean my own table!!!!!! There were other customers complaining as well. One lady talked to the manager twice, the manager just stood there looking down. There was a line of people at the door waiting to have a table cleared. Once we ordered we didn’t get enough silverware. The food came out cold. The waffle was hard. Our waitress didn’t check up on us. My husband got half of his order! The other half never came! When it was time to leave, I waited at the register for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to just take my check so I could go. I ended up writing on my receipt that it was the worst experience ever! So hopefully the store manager saw my receipt so that the matter can be brought up to someone who can appropriately handle...
Read moreI used to eat here 3 times a week spending 7 to 10 dollars per time. Until I bought breakfast to go once. I ordered what should have been 5 dollars yet it was 8 dollars to go. I paid for it and gave the waitress a 20 percent tip like I always did then thought about it and I asked the waitress why was it so high, she said it was because they charge me for the Styrofoam Togo boxes and cups. I laughed, because I couldn't believe she said something so stupid. I told her that was the cost of doing business, everyone has to go.
Then I asked to speak to a manager, she told me they started doing it because some people did not tip. I told her I always did and why didnt the waitress tell me that. She got her tip from them, then took my 20 percent tip too, very greedy, and unethical. She said she was sorry but they had to take care of their employees. I told them I would never eat there again. So Waffle house lost approximately 1248 dollars in revenue yearly, and the waitresses lost approximately 250 yearly by having a mandatory tip included. I dont mind tipping I just wont let anyone MAKE me tip someone especially if...
Read moreWe eat at waffle house a lot... and this one was cleaner than most, but some how had some of the worst service. I ordered hashbrowns scattered covered and chunked, they came loaded with onions. My husband ordered cheese grits, and the grits were so cold the slice of cheese was just in broken up pieces and never melted. My youngest son had just gotten done with baseball practice and was thirsty, so he drank his 1st drink pretty quickly after it was put in front of him and didn't get another refill til after we were completely done eating. I got my waffle that came with my all star breakfast after everyone else was almost done with their meal, and only then bc we asked for it. It was cooked on time, but had been sitting on a plate and was cold from sitting there so long. Butter didn't even melt. We ordered 1 kids waffle, one plain double waffle, 2 all star breakfasts, one had cheese grits and one had hashbrowns scattered covered and chunked, and 4 drinks. Some how our bill was $50. By the time we paid, my husband didn't even fight it. We were...
