Omelette Café — Restaurant in Hinesville

I don't do reviews but reading some of these petty, and ignorant comments, I just had too. First off to the people that made comments about the food being wrong and being packed. If the place is packed don't you think there will be a chance that your food is going to be incorrect. Do you see those people in the back preparing everyone's orders God know how many orders they prepare per day and being packed don't you thing they have a lot of pressure already from the amount of orders they have to prepare. People make mistakes more so if their pressured. Be a little more patient and understanding and less petty and ignorant. And for the ones that commented about it being unorganized do you have any clue how hard it is to run a restaurant specially one that just opened up not long ago yes Mrs. Scott this goes out to you. Before you go on the web to write a review and point people out by name you need to know what's going on and why it was happening. You have no clue who these people are and what they are like but yet u have the nerve to get on here and judge from the outside. I don't know if you know but that young lady your talking about bust her ass every God damn day and doesn't complain she does everything that has to get done in that restaurant to help her staff out. Do you know what she goes thru day to day do you know how her home life is? No right make sure when you write another review you know what your talking about. Better yet don't write any reviews. Iwork for a corporate company I don't see my general manager cleaning the toilets scrubbing walls or waxing the floors, that says alot bout someone in my eyes. And for those who can't patiently wait for their food knowing the place is packed I suggest you take your ass to Burger King or McDonalds where they'll make you smile and you can have it your way. Other then that this place has great food great prices great service and on top of all a great management team!!

Sincerely Just a...

I have been going for a few years and was a loyal fan of their burgers. Yesterday my son and I became very ill. I am super sensitive to MSG. I believe they seasoned the burger patties with something that contained MSG. I had body aches and a terrible headache for 11 hours after the meal. I thought about complaining to the restaurant but I feel my complaint would fall on deaf ears. This is a very clean place with good food but beware of the seasoning on some items such as the burger patties. As for me, I will not be ordering the burgers anymore.

UPDATE:

I phoned the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. Erica identified herself as the manager on shift today. I explained to her that I was sick from whatever they used to season the meat. She very coldly told me to go to the hospital if I am not feeling well. I reiterated that I am ill because of MSG or metals in the seasoning. I did not have to go to the hospital. I just need to weather it out. She refused to go check the seasoning container for MSG and told me the seasoning for the burgers are a secret ingredients.

I was wasting my time so I hung up. Buyer beware. I will not be going there again. And just like that, a long time customer...

Take my advice... DO NOT eat at this restaurant. They are the rudest people I have ever seen. The one woman with tattoos was the WORST. VERY disrespectful. I over heard her making fun of another customer. Horrible woman! I have been there twice thinking that maybe the first time I went they were just maybe having a bad day. The things I noticed were really bad. For example, The raw bacon looked like it sits out all day. I saw the cook touch eggs, raw meat, and bread without EVER changing his gloves. I noticed the servers trying to talk to the cooks and none of them spoke English. Shouldn't they have a Spanish speaking person there? It's very rushed and hurried also. They brought out parts of my meal separately and some were already cold. The bacon tasted like old meat and when I said something the one lady with the tattoos was VERY rude. Never again will I visit this place. Take my advice STAY AWAY form the Omelette House in Hinesville Georgia!! They don't even deserve one star but it made me click on it before...
