Doodles Billiards — Restaurant in Hinesville

I’m new to the area and figured this would be a great place to enjoy a couple of games of pool, drinks, & something to eat .... as we normally drive to Savannah for date nights, my boyfriend & I decided to stay local last Saturday. Upon entering, the young lady who initially checked us in for a pool table was extremely pleasant, however, she was interrupted by another female to “make sure you tell them how much it cost”! No biggie I initially thought because I may taken her body language and tone the wrong way. After receiving my stamp I sat at the end of the bar and left my boyfriend to get the details. He and the same female who wanted to make sure we knew the price arrived to the bar at the same time(it appears she’s a bartender). After passing us a couple of times, we ask her if she could clean the counter in front of us, in which you could clearly see it had crumbs and drink spills on it.....well, not only did she clean it, but she made sure we felt whatever the cleaning solution was as well ( she sprayed us & act as if she didn’t realized what she had done). When my boyfriend brought it to her attention, her response was, “if I had sprayed you she would have felt it too. I’ve been here since 9 a.m.” The ONLY reason I gave this review an extra star is because bartender from the back just happened to be getting something and she was EXTREMELY PLEASANT. She informed us that there was karaoke in the back and we could wait back there. We were so turned off by the Rudeness & nonchalant attitude of the first bartender that we left. We ended up going to JJ's Bar & Grill where we had EXCELLENT service, GREAT drinks, NICE music, & we were able to play a couple of games of pool. Came for wings, but they had no ranch 530pm on a payday friday. We decided to go elsewhere. We had ordered drinks, I asked for a to go cup since I just paid $3.50 for a drink I took 2 sips out of and she tells me it's an additional dollar for a To go cup....I feel that if you don't have the food you offer and don't tell me up front, then a single to go cup wouldn't have really killed you. Here is the kicker... right by the front door... there were plastic cups I could have used for free, but NO, that wasn't offered to me. I was going to use one, but our table was cleared before I could go back. I asked about the cups, and she offered to fill one back up for me but then continued to take orders and cash people out instead of fixing the situation.

I don't understand how you run out of necessitates on a payday friday and something simple like ranch. You could just go get a bottle. I saw the manager mosey in after we ordered the food , so nice of him to show up around 6 pm.

I won't go back. It was probably my 3rd time going in 20+ years and the first time for food. A simple, "Hey, I'm sorry, let me make your drinks to go for your troubles." OR "there are free cups by the door, let me grab you one."

OR get a bottle of ranch as back up on a payday friday..... simple. Any of those options would have made this 5 stars.

I don't blame the server for any of this, I blame whoever is running the place unless she is allowed to waive the to go cup fee in that situation. Hope my 4 dollars was worth this 1...

Places my order online for 10 piece teriyaki chicken, 10 hot all flats, 2 order of fries, and chicken tender basket meal. Took 35 minutes to receive order. Walk in to take out register, 2 waitress was standing there both look at me, so I smile and say hello here to pick up an order, no one spoke so one waitress asked me what was the name, told her my name and she went and got my order, before she handed me the order she asked my my name again so I told her and showed her my order on my phone. She handed me my bags I said thank you and she just looked at me, no thank you have a good night or nothing just blank stares like I was foreign or something. Now the food, chicken wings were hard as hell, I received all drums sticks and not my flats, only received one basket of fries, no ranch, and no honey mustard, fries were have cooked..paid $55 for some nasty food, and poor customers service, now when i callee back the manger was nice and stated that she will look for my receipt and refund me my money for the all flats and the basket of fries, she did offered me to come back and they remake it, but honestly i was going back and haven to wait another 35 minutes.
