It’s always a hit and miss here; I am loyalty customer so therefore I’m able to order online and supposedly pick up faster. But it seems as though that doesn’t matter, because the wait time is still cumbersome. The atmosphere here isn’t the best, I don’t expect them to smile the whole time, but don’t look as if you’re annoyed that people are coming in. I value the teens that are working here but, there’s more room for training on customer service and smoothie making. Either my smoothie is too thin or watery or lacks taste. Just because I add supplements doesn’t mean that the flavor of my smoothie should be completely compromised. Seems as though the only time my order is right is when the manager is actually on duty… I’m so disappointed… Do better…. PART 2…. I went back on the following Monday before work to see if I was able to get my refund.. BEWARE IF YOU USE THE APP AND AREN’T PLEASED WITH YOUR FOOD/DRINK, IT WILL BE A BATTLE TO RECEIVE A REFUND. I was honestly pressed for time but wanted to resolve the issue and unfortunately report the employee that I had several issues from. One of the Assistant Managers and I decided that they would make my smoothie. The same employee that I had issues with, was working there that day as well, with the same rude disposition. While my smoothie was being made, I tried to “ make amends” with employee because I am a regular customer here… They continued to have a disgusting attitude with me and disregarded my words for “ peace” , which caused a transaction of words between us two. The employee had the audacity to want to FIGHT ME??!! 😂 Of course I kept my barren, ( mind you I am much older and have been in the military). I spoke my piece of course, her coworkers and managers told her to go to the back room. She stayed temporarily only to come back into the front and act as if she wanted to fight me. Of course I spared the youth, I had to realize that not everyone has emotional intelligence & conflict resolution. I will say that if you’re a Veteran, please beware if you decided to come here. Expect lackluster customer service and a possible threat or two from a pubescent worker. If your PTSD can manage it, then be my guest… For you Ty or Tia I know your name starts with a T, I wish you well and hope that you seek psychiatric...
Read moreWow. SO SLOW. We’re generally fans of Tropical Smoothie. Shakes are good. Prices when you include the food add on is reasonable. But the TIME. We waited for 53 min. In the drive thru. We know because we were on our Lunch break. You would assume an hour lunch break is enough to go through a drive thru. Nope. In that time we watched 3 cars pull out of line. This is obviously not uncommon since they have 5 orange cones blocking the exit. All three had to make 3 point turns to get out of the driveway. Their time was obviously worth it lol. As for us, we’d assumed they must be short staffed as everywhere else is. Nope. When we pulled up they had 6 people behind the counter. All busy…looking confused. We sat at that window watching them scramble around talking to each other for a solid 10 min. Just to have them tell us to pull up to the pole and wait. No reason. No apology. So we did. After another 10 min of waiting we had to get back to work. My coworker walked inside to see where they were on our TWO shakes, both exactly the same with no extras or alterations from the menu and to add insult to injury, the girl behind the counter looked at him, said “Two Chia Banana Boosts?” He nodded and without another word she just put them on the counter, turned her back to him and just stood there. Man. We waited an HOUR for TWO smoothies. Were told it is was made incorrectly and to pull forward to the pole with NO apology. Waited some more and the finally had to go in and get the order ourselves. You’d think a simple sorry OR thank you at this point wouldn’t be too much to ask? Well. It was. My coworker grabbed two straws and left. All I can say is…If we treated our customers like this…we wouldn’t be in business for long. Regardless how good our product was. Definitely not...
Read more5 star for smoothie. 0 stars for Food. Numerous times I’ve had issues with food. They have a really bad habit of not telling you they are out of stock of ingredients and just make the food without the ingredients. QC lacking with the food. I’ve been here 5 times for their new Caprese Grilled Cheese Sandwich. First time they put on flat bread (which I actually really really liked it and got hooked). 2nd Time I order they make sandwich and I hear cashier (same one that rung me up) tell another customer they are out of pesto at this time they bring my sandwich out and ask the cashier we’re good right you had pesto for my sandwich and the cashier told me he didn’t know that pesto was on that sandwich and apologized and refunded my order and I went somewhere else for food. 3rd time I go I’m told they are out of Parmesan. 4th time I go they are out of tomatoes. And finally the 5th time today after asking if they have all ingredients I’m informed they have everything. Finally thought we were good and was excited to eat the sandwich. Well I got home and no tomatoes in my sandwich. This place can’t seem to get their act together. It’s one thing to be out of an ingredient, it’s disappointing but I understand. It’s another to make the food with the missing ingredients and not inform the customer but take the customers money. That is FRAUD! I’ve also had issues with the Sante Fe quesadilla multiple times I’m not issued sauce but again not informed they are out of stock until after they take my food and give me the meal.
