Wawa — Restaurant in Hinesville

Don’t bother wasting your time or money on this place. The first time I went was in march when they first opened. I had to wait over 30 minutes for one drink and they dropped a part of the blender lid in my drink (see picture). The second time I went was months later in June since I figured they had time to get their act together. I ordered a frozen drink and a Powerade curbside at 3:42 pm. It was supposed to be ready at 3:55 pm. At 4:12 pm I called the store. They tried to tell me it never went through. I told them I ordered 30 minutes earlier. They then tried to tell me I never told them where I was parked. I told them I did so in the app immediately after ordering since I ordered from the parking lot. I told them again over the phone where I was parked. They said ok and hung up. At 4:22 pm nothing had changed so I went into the store to get money back. The cashier immediately called for the manager over her walkie and then proceed to call her two more times over her walkie over the course of 10 minutes. She had to go and hunt her down herself just for her to show up. They weren’t able to do the refund in store since it was an online order so I asked for my drinks instead. I gave this location a 3 b/c I’ve had my drink made here twice now and it was a little off. I’m used to going to the one in Jesup so I had a certain expectation of what I was expecting and wanting. They make my drinks amazing and the food is incredible. I was glad this one in hinesville opened so I wouldn’t have to drive as far but ; I think after three visits. I’ve start back going to the one in Jesup.

I know this is a new a location, but for me it’s just too crowded. No matter what time you go, it’s just too many ppl, standing around waiting on food. I know the kitchen moving fast as they can to kick food out, but it’s just too many ppl. On future locations they really need to work on creating an area where ppl can sit and wait, stand and wait. Yes, they have outdoor space where you can sit. But I’m not sitting outside in 30 degrees. Again, it’s just too many ppl FOR ME….I’m late for work waiting in line for food. But; yes it’s new and popular . I get it. IJS this is just why I will be going down to Jesup throughout the summer until the second one opens .

So for now. This location with so many ppl and them making my drinks weird and them NOT having chocolate chip caramel. I’ll just pass on this location and keep...

Well I’m glad it’s here, as a former Pennsylvanian I can say the sandwich is good, it was nice to have real amoroso rolls again. The only downside is that I didn’t see any Wawa brand drinks in the cases (chocolate milk, the chilled coffee drinks etc) which i enjoyed years back. I also don’t believe I saw any of their brand ice cream either. The chocolate peanut butter is amazing. I’m guessing the Wawa ice cream thing may only be found up north I don’t know?? Don’t think I saw that though. Something else I hoped to see was the large hot case with regular and 1/4lb hotdogs in it in the buns ready to go. If they really want to nail it with the experience they’d add the aforementioned and Tastykake snacks. Finally not thrilled with how this Wawa was designed it’s nothing like ones I grew up with and gave it a whole different vibe. The staff is awesome, they’re doing great work and I’m grateful they’re sticking it out even through the really annoying grand opening nonsense that seemingly lit a...
