I visited this location yesterday evening for a pick up order. I had a 10 piece mixed chicken, six biscuits and two sides. My order was supposed to be ready at 8:43 PM. I arrive at the drive-through at 8:41 and sit at the window for about 3 to 4 minutes and the cashier came back to tell me they were making fresh fries and to pull up to the end of the curb. I sat there for about seven minutes until I decided I was ready to go because it was taking so long. I pulled back around through the drive-through because someone was behind me and when I got to the window, the cashier informed me that she had just previously came out to the car, but I was not there. I was asking to cancel, but she said everything was ready so I just said just give me the food. When she gave me the food and I checked it, the green beans juice was dripping over everything in the bag; the fries, the biscuits and when i pulled it out the bag it wasted all over my seat in my car. So I blew the horn two or three times before someone came back to the window, and I informed the same cashier of the issue and asked for a bag. while she was apologetic, this was a very bad experience for me because why not make sure that the top is secure if you’re going to put so much juice in the green beans container. We got home, overlooked over everything and more than half of the chicken was soggy; unsure if that was due to the cook but i am 99.9% sure it was that dang green bean juice, however we didn’t want the soggy chicken of course. We barely ate the fries. The biscuits were OK; the ones that didn’t have the juice on them and the green beans were not even good. I called the store, spoke to a manager and explained the situation and she offered to exchange the sides, but I was not concerned about the sides because the chicken was the portion of the meal that we really wanted. She advised me that if I bring it back to the store, she would exchange it for me. While I did tell her I was going to come back, it was time for me to put my kids in the bed as it was late so I couldn’t make it back. Saying all this to say my first experience was a great experience, which is why I went back but my last time going to this location was last night. I appreciate the manager for offering to exchange, but it’s a true inconvenience when it should’ve been made correctly the first time and I not have to go back. I really hope that they take this review and use my negative experience to make someone else’s experience more positive. I definitely feel like I wasted my money and if I could, I would love to get my money...

I’m sharing this because I’m truly disappointed and feel like I’m not being taken seriously.
On July 15, after eating from Jack’s Restaurant located at 800 Charles Hardy Parkway in Dallas, GA, I became extremely sick and had to go to the hospital. My temperature was 102, blood pressure 173/112, and I was told I was almost septic—all from eating undercooked chicken I received from their location.
This used to be my favorite place to eat. I had issues with my order on July 12 & 13, and after calling, they replaced those meals. But on July 14, I received food that made me violently ill. When I called the store, they offered me yet another replacement meal—which honestly felt like a slap in the face at that point.
I reached out to Austin Swain, their district manager, and even emailed him on July 17 because I still haven’t received a real response or any form of accountability from the company. I feel like I’m getting the runaround.
Meanwhile, I’ve been out of work all week, can barely eat, and have had to cover hospital bills, medication, and transportation—all while getting NO proper contact info for someone who can actually help.
To make matters worse, when I contacted the Paulding County Health Department, I was questioned about whether my sickness was actually from the food. I know what I ate, when I ate it, and what happened afterward. It’s insulting and dismissive.
This is not okay. Jack’s needs to do better. This experience has affected my health, my finances, and my trust in how they handle serious customer concerns.
Please share this. No one else should have to go through this.

Read moreThis is my fourth time and my last time eating at Jack's. What a disappointment because I was really excited for a new restaurant in Dallas and right up the street from my house! The first time I ordered from here I got the $6 Fried Chicken meal. My chicken breast was so big juicy and fresh I was so impressed so I went back a second time... this time I got the fried chicken meal again the breast was so small that I thought it was a thigh... everything was cold. The mashed potatoes had such a small tiny amount of gravy on top that it was almost pointless.. I gave them another shot and I went a third visit. This time I got the $6 chicken tenders meal. One of the chicken tenders looked like a chicken nugget it was literally a round little ball of chicken. The other two pieces were small enough for a toddler's meal. Again got the mashed potatoes with little to no gravy.. today went through the drive-thru and got the grilled chicken BLT salad the girl at the window says we don't have that here..... it's on your menu. So she goes to check with someone and comes back and says okay and takes the order I get home and open my salad. It is the worst salad! For $8 I got some shredded lettuce a tiny bit of bacon a very small amount of chicken and some cheese. This is an absolute waste of my money. Sadly I will never go back and it's clear that others are getting this picture as well because there is never anybody there when you go through the drive-thru or in the...
