I have never seen so much disorganization in a food establishment in my life. I know the food industry is hard, especially now since Covid but this one takes the cake. I ordered my food online as a to go order and showed up about 20 min after the order was placed. The guy informed me that they were still working on my black beans and rice (ordered with tacos, so tacos are done at this point). I go back to the car and watch an entire 40 minute episode of a show on Netflix and come back in to check on it, we are somehow still waiting for black beans and rice. I go back to the car for another 15. I come back in to check and see that we are still waiting for black beans and rice, so I stand there to wait to let them know I’m still here. It’s been an hour and my tacos are just sitting getting cold. The man gives me my food. Well I live 7 min from this establishment. I get home and my black beans are INEDIBLE!!!! Burnt to a crisp! Clearly they’d been sitting in this cooker for a LONG time and it was probably at the bottom of it. I’m waiting this long for food that ain’t even fresh. Let’s talk about the rice- I’ve had Taco Mac’s cilantro lime rice at other locations and it’s always good. This rice- also the bottom of the cooker. Hard pieces, over cooked, clumped together… I’m like wow, the tacos have to be better than this even though they’d been sitting. I’m wrong, the onions are Thrown all over the place. Only two of the three tacos have cheese on it. I noticed as I was standing waiting for the food that most of the people working in the kitchen look clueless, can’t find things, one girl is moving so slow as if she’s got nothing better to do. People look like they’re bumping into each other. I mean it’s like movie level disorganization. This was my 3rd attempt at giving this location a shot but 3 strikes. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t feed this food...
Read moreWe had a group of 14 that begged to be seated on Wednesday July 14 starting 6:45 p.m. There were two big open end booths open. There were big high top tables empty. No one was being seated outside but it was empty. Only one couple was waiting. Our attempt to make a reservation was met with the recommendation to come an hour early and hold a table. Sure enough there was a huge table being held by one man for another group. We asked how long one person could hold a large table but got no reply. This is not my first visit here. Tables are empty, drinks need refills, customers are not seated while as many as five of the wait staff congregate at the hostess station. This group was rude and mocking to our ladies. Holding up their tablets and whispering while staring at us. We were there from 6:45 to 7:15 but they would not seat us. Told it was not time for those tables to be seated as other waitresses needed customers first?? What's wrong with moving wait staff out of rotation? Julio finally told us to "Take It or Leave It" and those are his exact words. We were never disrespectful during our requests. I spoke with Todd Darby/GM the next day and asked him to check seating at that time. Restaurant seating by time slot should be available to management as it is automated with tablets. Todd promised to call me back the next day. He did not return my call. I called several days later and left a message which was not returned. My request to him was to tell me what would change so that I could convince this large group to return. We have a group that ranges from ten to twenty that eats out every Wednesday night. I am very disappointed with the new Taco Mac in Hiram. We will go back to the Taco Mac on Hwy 120...
Read moreLast night, 5/31/24, TM must have had their A+ team working! I’ve been at TM before, but our experience last night was PHENOMENAL! It started with a guy named JT, who greeted us with the biggest smile. We felt so welcomed as if he was honored to see us. He walked us to a table and bent down. There was a quarter sized fry on the floor! You could barely see it. I was thoroughly impressed by that!
Then our waiter came over, his name was Darius. He was so attentive, courteous, and quick. There was a guy named Jeremiah who brought out our food. I noticed that I had one flat and nine drums. He, Darius and a very nice young man named Max were at the table when I explained my dilemma and they quickly went into action.
As most people know, flats are a favorite. When Jeremiah noticed my challenge, he took ownership, apologized for the inconvenience and placed another order. This gesture was extremely thoughtful and the level of professionalism was definitely appreciated.
He personally brought my food out! It was piping hot and oh so good! As I ate, Max came by and said “auntie, did we get you taken care of?” I smiled and nodded and said “yes nephew!” He was tickled. We aren’t related obviously, but the family, fun atmosphere that TM wants to portray was very well executed last night!
It was pretty late and I didn’t expect everyone to be so vibrant as they would at the start of the shift. I have to say, this Dream Team should be recognized for their dedication to TM and its customers.
Kudos to Jeremiah and the entire crew. Especially Darius, JT and Max for making our dining room experience, unforgettable! Thanks guys, you are the best of the best,...
