El Coco Pirata Hobbs Nm — Restaurant in Hobbs

I recently found myself in Hobbs, NM, for a work trip, and our partners recommended trying El Coco Pirata for lunch—and it was an excellent suggestion. This small, locally-owned restaurant exudes a welcoming vibe, complete with a live band playing music during our meal, which added to the relaxed atmosphere.

For my meal, I went with the fish tacos paired with a side of rice. They serve four generously portioned tacos, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. The food was delicious overall, and I would happily return for another visit.

Not impressed.. Service wasnt at its best the 1st time had to ask for everything i needed 2nd time they forgot to put our order in (i understand things like this happend) went back the 3rd time because they were polite and offered there sincere apologies only to get a 7 dollar discount for the previous error. A big slap in the face and my order was a fajita pirata full of green peppers and onions had to dig for the very little pieces of fajita and chicken a 16 dollar plate to get served lots of green...

We have never had complaints about the food here and the day we tried to tell them one shrimp cocktail smelled like sewer the “ manager/owners daughter” came to our table and made it seem like we were trying to get the food for free! When clearly it wasn’t their food it was the cup but she was super rude and we never asked for anything free other than a different cup, but instead were giving an extreme sarcastic and rude response. 🤦‍♀️ we will never return they definitely don’t put their...
