I recently found myself in Hobbs, NM, for a work trip, and our partners recommended trying El Coco Pirata for lunch—and it was an excellent suggestion. This small, locally-owned restaurant exudes a welcoming vibe, complete with a live band playing music during our meal, which added to the relaxed atmosphere.
For my meal, I went with the fish tacos paired with a side of rice. They serve four generously portioned tacos, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. The food was delicious overall, and I would happily return for another visit.
