El Palomar — Restaurant in Hobbs

Use to be my favorite of all resturants in Hobbs,, The last couple of time's I was there I had to share my time with ants, along the walls , the tables, an floor,,tried to be decent about it speaking with a manager but no success, they did ask if they could move me to another table, but I seen no use in it, I just tried to explain to them but they didn't care, was one of there top customers was in there pretty much every week or twice a week, tipped my girl's there top dollar everytime,, Needless to say , I was told pretty much if I was gonna cause trouble ,, Don't come back!!! I thought they would care a bit more about there customers, but in this case I was oh so wrong, it's the money an nothing more,,, I would think twice if you wanted to stop in for a bite,, Never...

I'm not sure who is reviewing this place, it's not 4.5 starts by any means. I got a steak, chicken, shrimp fajitas, unfortunately i didn't get steake with it, when i asked why they shorted me on streak the girl said "it's to benefit the restaurant". Wow. Service was unbelievable, we waited for our food a long time, after getting most of our meals, my wife had to wait for her meal while the waitress took someone else order. I haven’t been in years and this place use to be my favorite. When I decided to go back I was so disappointed ☹️ the service was awful, no chips or salsa, no tortillas had to beg for napkins. Please don’t get me started on that canned fruit cocktail. After checking out and paying 65 dollars for 3 buffets I noticed they even charged for water now too. I will not be going back. And charging that kind of money you think they’d update the seating in there instead of having people fall through the booth seats. Sad to see it...
