El Paradero Mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Hobbs

We were passing through Hobbs New Mexico and needed to rest and eat. We decided to get off the main drag and look for a good restaurant. Well we scored a great find! We stopped and ate at El Paradero Mexican Restaurant. I ate cheese enchiladas with green chili sauce. The enchiladas were good, but the green chili sauce is the best I've ever put in my mouth. That's saying a lot because a lot of my relatives are Hispanic because my wife is a Mexicana. If you are anywhere near Hobbs New Mexico. I would interupt my schedule and take a drive down Dal Paso Street and stop in at El Paradero Restaurant. Happy...

What a gem we stumbled onto while traveling through Hobbs. Not much curbside appeal but don’t let that stop you from pulling into the parking lot. Absolutely the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Both me and my husband loved our meals. (Beef fajitas and beef enchiladas plus a Queso dip appetizer.) I'm sad I didn't ever visit this place when I was a college student living here. The food was really good and the aguas were my favorite. Service was good and I'm glad I ate here for my graduation. I think it beat all the places that were packed. I ordered the sopes and really enjoyed them.
