Nice to see an eatery since I was a kid being on a bowling league at Wrights. After a few strings our team would stop in for another Saturday treat. Food was cheaper back in the 60s but oh great memories of the best ice cream in town. It wasnt long when Friendlys opened near the South shore eley school. But nothing could compare to Stanney's. Read moreBeen coming here since the VERY early 70's. We used to get ice cream here as kids. I remember a bunch of us in H.S. getting their "H-Bomb Neutralizer" gigantic ice cream specialty. As good as it was, there was no way we could finish it. Breakfasts here can't be beat. Excellent coffee and the best breakfast sausage around! Waitstaff (especially Barbara) very attentive and friendly. I vaguely remember there being a second location in Brockton, but I don't think we ever went to that one. This place is the real deal! Read moreLast week, my nephew and I found this place on our way back from the dentist. It's a great spot with an old Americana aesthetic that I really like. The atmosphere is just what I look for in a restaurant.
The food was excellent. I had the "Fried Dough French Toast" with ham and home fries, and it was all very tasty. My nephew enjoyed his steak omelet as well.
The service was good - attentive and prompt, just as you'd expect. I have no complaints at all.
