Pretty standard Thai food. The appetizer sampler was good - I liked the crab rangoon and the golden bags best. I ordered the Pad See-U with shrimp, which had cabbage, broccoli, carrots and bean sprouts – this is different than other places I’ve been to that just use Chinese broccoli and sometimes carrots. Lots of vegetables and a decent portion, but personally not enough for leftovers. I was disappointed by the shrimp, there were only 4 small pieces, but gave the whole dish a shrimpy smell and taste – if I ordered again, I think I’d go for the chicken! My mom got that and she said she liked it. My dad liked his Pad Thai as well. The mango sticky rice was underwhelming for me, though they did give us a lot of mango to pair it with. My wife and I have eaten here many times. We have also eaten here with friends. Everyone who has had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant has had an excellent experience. The ambiance is fairly nice, and very clean. The owners and other staff at the restaurant are very friendly and conscientious towards ensuring your experience at the Thai House of Holden is a pleasant one! We have sampled a wide variety of soups, appetizers, and main dishes. All the food items from crab rag-goons, soups, rice dishes, and main dinner items were delicious! We tend to dine at the Thai House of Holden on Tuesday Evenings, mainly because the bartender and primary server that night is Sara, who is friendly, attentive, efficient, and makes excellent drinks! This is by far the BEST Thai food I've ever had! The exquisite food choices are plenty and they are very accommodating when it comes to special food requests, like Gluten free or Vegan. The food presentation is beautiful too and the service is very friendly and fast. I also like the fact that this restaurant is a combination of Thai restaurant and sports bar. There is a tranquil and very nice dining area, or you can sit at the bar, and enjoy your delicious meal, watch your favorite sports channel and/or choose from their big variety of cocktail, wine or beer list.
