Visiting from California. Took an Uber to come for a movie. Dairy Queen was next door. Cashier was a young lady, brunette, with a long ponytail. I assumed walking in that the dining room would be closed however when I came in there were a few older ladies sitting in the back corner of the restaurant eating and talking. The cashier informed me that I was not able to charge my phone while waiting for my food because dine in was not an option. Not a problem. Except she had a few ladies sitting in the back that were not in uniform and looked like they were just there visiting. They were in flip flops shorts and relaxing. Terrible attitude. When she was done with the order she asked which car I was in. I told her I would be outside, as I am not from here and took an Uber down. Her face turned in disgust like she was completely inconvenienced. I went outside and waited for my food with my two kids. When she gave me our bags she just handed them to me, and was so careless the bag started to tear at the bottom. You would think she would hold the bottom of the bag, but no. She could have cared less. We are staying in park city for vacation. The megaplex is the closest theater that is opened. This is the only reason why we ate here today. We will not be coming back and I will make sure to let friends know when vacationing in Utah to stay away from this particular Dairy Queen. This happened on Saturday, July 11 at...
Read moreI personally love coming to this Dairy Queen. I actually eat here quite frequently. Usually when I eat out I don’t mind little things, I’ve worked fast food before and it can be extremely difficult. Granted never does any situation warrant a few customers getting yelled at. Especially by a cranky employee. The small redhead, not the one who colors her hair red, and not the tall red head either. She’s usually here in the day time and wears her hair in a low pony tail with bangs. Most often she is just a kind of huffy employee but today when my friend and I can in for ice cream to celebrate the fact that I had just graduated from school, she was very upset at us for coming in and then when she was the only one in the front of the restaurant she started yelling at customers saying she was the only one here. I actually witnessed customers walking out of the store and I have never seen that before. I love this Dairy Queen and most of the employees, but this girl has gone too far. Yelling at customers for coming in to the store for ice cream and no other obvious reason. I truly hope she is replaced so Dairy Queen might be a place for people to come and enjoy themselves because that can’t be done while she is...
Read moreI crave their bacon cheese burger. It is not like others you find at Wendy's or McD's or the like. I feel like they really care how the food is prepared and how it looks and tastes. DELICIOUS! My two favorite Blizzards are Butter finger and Peanut butter Oreo. I usually get great service although sometimes the young teens are well, young teens. I only gave 4 stars for a few of reasons. 1, they often close off more than half the seating areas during peak times for cleaning, but no one is ever cleaning them. Makes me feel like they think I am stupid. 2, they give you a huge number card for your order but make you go up to get it. Would it be that hard to bring it over with a smile and an, "Enjoy your meal"? 3, when I get those late evening cravings, their doors are locked at 9 pm. I wish they stayed open later especially in the Summer. When I do make it before 9, say 8:40 or so, they say the kitchen is closed. I would much rather give THEM my business and have one of their amazing burgers, but if it is anywhere after 8:30, I go somewhere else with a small tear running...
