This was my first time at Honey Baked. My wife received a gift certificate from work so we opted for a ham for Easter dinner. The store has a pleasing decor that is clean and fresh. As I was waiting in line I noticed how each employee greeted their customer and was friendly and informative in explaining the options available to them. As someone who has worked in the meat industry my whole life I can see the value of the information they are sharing to help customers make decisions. The ham we received was of good quality and I could recommend it to anyone. As their name states, the hams are sweet. A bit more than my liking but not excessively so. I cannot recommend this location of Honeybaked enough!!! They went above and beyond in making our holiday better. We purchased a ham for Christmas, but unfortunately we were sick on Christmas so we had to postpone our traditional dinner. By the time we went to eat our ham, it was no longer edible. We contacted the store, not sure what they’d say. To our surprise, they said bring it back and they’ll give us a new one. Not only that, when we returned the ham, they were so incredibly nice- apologized that our ham didn’t last longer, that we were sick for Christmas, and they not only replaced our ham, but they gave us a gift card for a future purchase just for our trouble. Ordered Christmas dinner here and the confirmation email said it would be ready by 3:30 and could be picked up within 24 guess but mentioned nothing about having to pick it up at that exact time OR that they'd be closing early. I showed up at 5, well before their closing time, to pick up the expensive Christmas dinner for my family and no one was there. There wasn't even a sign on the door saying they had closed early! So, my family didn't get to have the Christmas dinner we were counting on. At the very least, there should have been some sort of notice in the confirmation email that they had different hours that day.
