Always a nice place to go for breakfast. The wait staff is nice. Might be a lady there that seats you that has a little bit of an attitude if you ask her how long the wait is but once passed the gate keeper it's very enjoyable. The food is delicious I can't say anything bad about those hardworking cooks they always keep it fast, consistent and hot. The decor is fitting for the area and name of the restaurant. Some of of the sayings on the walls and the purse with the holster is interesting but again you market to your community, kudos 🎯 on the mark! My favorites are the Pile and the breakfast burrito with chorizo and the country potatoes (inside).
My favorite lunch is the salad with skirt steak. On one occasion, during the summer 2022, a unch time waitress that favored one of the male regulars gave me a run and let me sit about 15 extra minutes before I was acknowledged and my order taken, as she chatted with the regular. Then I finally had to interrupt her convo to ask for my drink that I ordered and then a box and then the check. She really made me work for her standard 20% tip I give most for just the basic service, that day was the first time in years I didn't tip that much, felt horrible leaving 10% but geez lady work with me. This is not typical of any of the other waitresses that I have had since and hopefully it was a one off.
UPDATE: Well I'm kind of updating my review despite them posting recently on Facebook that they were hiring to Cooks and two waitresses when I got there with my resume the owner looked at me I told her what it was for a waitress position she said we're only hiring cooks and then handed my resume back and said here you can...
Read moreI meant two friends from out of town at the restaurant about 12:30 p.m. . The restaurant was moderately busy My friends had arrived a few minutes earlier than I did and already secured a table I sat down and almost immediately was greeted by our waitress who had already greeted my two friends. She was very courteous pleasant and professional the service was very very good. She explained questions that we have displaying complete knowledge of the menu. We completed our orders and the food arrived shortly thereafter. Through conversation at the table it was apparent that the food was of good quality and arrived as we had ordered. For example we ordered for salad dressing on the side and the correct salad dressing was in fact on the side crispy fries were asked for and crispy fries were received. Busboys were readily available to clear the table of used dishes and utensils and also made themselves available for extra water or coffee. The waitress checked during the course of our lunch to see if there was anything we needed and to check on the quality of food. I come from a restaurant family and I can attest that the quality of service the quality of food rates and A +. Believe me if it was lousy I'd certainly indicate it was lousy.. but these people deserve an A+. Yes I would highly recommend revisiting or visiting...

This place is reasonably large, and busy. The theme is as the name suggests! Country styled, quaint and clean. They seem to run a tight ship and this is encouraging when you walk into such a large place.
The menu is quite large and we didn't even read into the lunch pages - we ordered breakfast at midday. It arrived fairly quickly, considering the number of people.
I ordered Eggs Benedict. So, here's the thing. It was delicious. But one day, I will find a place that prides itself on a true hollandaise sauce. This was not it. It was basically a chicken flavoured sauce. Still, it was nice and I ate it! The garlic hash brown was pretty good too.
All in all, typical good home style American cooking with oversized servings. Nothing special, but the obvious pride they take in their service makes it a friendly and relaxing place to have a casual meal with friends or family.
Note: Parking is a pain. Especially if mobility is an issue. There are very few disability spaces nearby. If this is an issue for you, I would suggest finding a different venue. We weren't even there during...
