Pulled up and the darker-haired barista was working. She’s familiar with my wife’s usual order, but with both of us in the car, she bypassed me and asked my wife, “Just your cold brew?” A simple “What can I get you two?” would have been more appropriate. I understand wanting to remember regulars’ orders, but good customer service requires greeting all customers properly. This barista is often rude and brusque, which my wife has also noticed, describing her as frequently “in a funk and rude.” This behavior needs addressing instead of being excused as “just the way she is.”
