Asia's Cakes — Restaurant in Holly Springs

Our first experience won't be our last! I ordered a birthday cake (Vanilla Almond w/Vanilla butter cream icing) and it was both beautiful and absolutely delicious! Everyone at the party raved about how good it was. The cake was substantial (I had fun asking everyone to pick it up) and so moist and the perfect texture.

While there to pick-up the cake, I noticed they had GF cupcakes and cookies and bought some for a family member who has Celiac's. They also had some dairy-free options as well (and possible vegan options but was not looking for that).

Also, the staff were very polite, helpful and engaging. The place is beautiful inside and well-maintained. I look forward to trying the croissants next time!

The cake ordering process was simple with one hitch, that I believe has been or will soon be fixed, on the website where a day after placing my order I received a message that my cake was ready for pick-up. However, I ordered a week in advance and wanted the cake made/ready closer to when I had indicated that I wanted to pick it up. Turns out this is/was just a glitch with the website and the owner was very responsive in addressing my concerns.

I truly wanted to love this bakery—everything looks beautiful, and I was excited to try a few of their popular items. I gave it a fair shot, having tried the banana pudding, cheesecake, and red velvet cake on separate visits. Unfortunately, the desserts just didn’t work for me. While pricing is a bit on the higher side, that’s not really my issue. The main concern is the texture and taste. I found the items to be overly sweet, and in some cases, thick and dry—particularly the red velvet cake. The flavors didn’t quite come together the way I hoped, and it left me a bit disappointed each time. That said, I know taste is subjective, and it’s clear that others enjoy what this bakery offers. I genuinely wish them continued success—it’s just not the right fit...

We came in for some pastries and they were delicious! The croissant and honey bun I had were amazing, and my friend got a muffin that she said was awesome. Recently, we ordered a cookie cake for a birthday party, and it was great! Moist, tasty, and not an overwhelming amount of frosting. The colors were great, and the writing and border looked perfect! It was ready on time, and the ordering process was super simple. Will definitely be going again, and ordering cakes again.
