Last December I accompanied a friend to La Fleur Aesthetics. She was getting tox for the first time and was a little nervous and wanted moral support! I had been curious about tox for years but had never researched any local places to go. After talking to my friend and hearing more about Kirsten, I decided I wanted to try tox as well!

I had heard horror stories about going to the "wrong" place for treatments like this, but finding out that Kirsten is a CRNA and in training to become a Family Nurse Practitioner put me at ease before I even met her. Someone who is so interested in continuing to learn and expand their knowledge about the human body is DEFINITELY the kind of person I want doing facial treatments on me.

Then I got to meet Kirsten in person and knew for sure I was in the right place. She is so kind and welcoming and clearly knows her stuff. The amount of time we spent talking before beginning any sort of treatment was so comforting. It felt like my friend and I were her sole concern--she had plenty of time to walk us through the experience of having tox done for the first time. Kirsten even had an anatomy picture of facial muscles to explain how tox treatments in different areas work. By this time I was already completely confident in having her do treatments for me, but when I asked about potentially doing tox in a vertical wrinkle above my eyebrow (which a dermatologist once told me was a perfectly okay spot for tox), she immediately said that type of wrinkle isn't what tox is meant to help. This is due to it being vertical, but she also explained that it was simply to close to my eye and the optic muscles/nerves (forgive me if I'm explaining this incorrectly; I'm clearly not a medical professional!) and that she wouldn't do it since there was a slight risk of damage to my eyesight in that eye.

BAM. That was the clincher. I became a Kirsten devotee from that moment forward. We had only just met and I could tell she took her work seriously, knew anatomy and medicine extremely well, and already cared enough about my safety to risk potentially losing a new client if I had been displeased with the answer I received from her. There are plenty of places you can go that will agree to do just about whatever you want so they can take your money. You'll see a different person every time and never build a relationship with anyone there.

With Kirsten, you're building a relationship with her and you can be assured she'll always be in your corner and prioritize your health, safety, and treatment results. She is not remotely pushy or worried about making commission or selling products. When I go see her, I feel like I'm visiting a friend who just so happens to make me look like a better version of myself! Kirsten at La Fleur Aesthetics is awesome! First, as a nurse myself, I love that she is a CRNA and FNP so she really has a high level of knowledge related to her field. She really listens to what her clients are looking for and comes up with a plan to get you the results you are looking for. Her space is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Kirsten is so incredibly knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with her patients. It really feels like you’re getting an education on the pros and cons of each service and how that may or may not work with your lifestyle or what your tolerance is.
