Luxe-Bistro Oceanside at Quadomain — Restaurant in Hollywood

The vendor failed to deliver on every single service and product purchased: They advertised as being in business for 30 yrs, however, later learned that they have been in business for only 3 yrs. Event planning services were not provided and when we reached out, we were told that everything was taken care off and that “everything will be very nice and luxurious.” It did not. There was no VIP Shuttle service. We had to reach out multiple times to be told that “it should be there.” After a 3rd call, we finally learned that they booked 2 Ubers, but the Uber drivers were as confused as we were about the destination and who was paying for the transportation. I received calls/messages from every guest regarding parking and nonexistent shuttle service. I had to coordinate transportation for each of them. As a result, it took over an hour to transport all the guests to the facility which cut into our celebration time. The atmosphere was not luxurious. Instead, we discovered construction and exterior renovations of the neighboring building just a few feet away without warning or prior notice. There were carelessly scattered broken equipment which was hazardous and unsightly. Moreover, there were no restroom facilities in the building. We had to use restroom in a different building with extremely limited access. This was never disclosed to us. None of the decorations, particularly, ballon wrapped columns, were provided. Upon arrival, we were advised that "the wind blew the balloons away," even though when we purchased the decoration package, we were assured that they had a team of experts securing balloons and decoration that can withstand beach wind. The centerpieces were supposed to be pink and white floral arrangements but instead we received a few bunches of fake, yellow daffodils that were knocked over by the wind and had to be removed. The sound system that was part of the venue agreement was not working for most of the event, thus, there was no music for most of it. Upon arrival at 3:00pm, there was no wait staff or bartender present. We were told that they were running late and would arrive at 4:00pm, an hour after the event started. However, NONE of the service staff ever arrived. Later, we were informed that ALL the service staff suddenly called out. It was obvious that there was no wait staff hired. The service for 30 guests was conducted by a sole individual, the owner, who unfortunately did not meet the high standards of professionalism expected in the advertised luxury event. He wore a stained t- shirt, oversized pants, and a ball cap, all of which did not reflect a professional image. Soft drinks, juices, Voss premium bottled water, San Pellegrino sparkling bottled water were paid for but not provided. The food service did not start until 5:00pm due to delays in the kitchen (two hours after the event start time). Food was subpar. The quality of the food did not meet the standards expected for a 5- star rating, despite what was advertised and assured. Multiple food items including entrees were not enough for 30 guests. As a result, several guests had to share their entrees. The deserts were store bought. There was no coffee or tea provided as paid for. The supply of sparkling wine was depleted before the conclusion of the event, despite our payment for unlimited sparkling wine. The plates, utensils, and tableware were not cleared, and even though we paid for Voss premium bottled water, the 'tap' water provided to us and the guests was never refilled. Consequently, the guests had to clear their own plates, utensils, and tableware, and refill their own water. When politely confronted, the event planner, threatened one of the guests and implied that he was a part of a crime organization. Overall, the event was a complete failure. There was nothing luxurious or professional about it. We were deceived and exploited as it was clear that the vendor never intended to uphold his end of the agreement or provide paid for services...

I recently returned to my condo for the winter and was excited to return to this new addition that I was able to enjoy before returning home last year. It is a big improvement over what we had before. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere have all been excellent. I even got to know Johnathan and several staff members who have all been so welcoming and friendly, it is the reason I have started regularly attending.

Unfortunately, I have noticed constant staff turnover, with only a few familiar faces remaining, likely friends of the owner. Last week, one of the staff shared with me a the owner takes 10% of their hard-earned tips. This practice is not only unfair, it is a likely reason they cannot retain good employees.

As much as I have enjoyed the food and drinks, I cannot support a business that does not value its team. On top of that, both of my most recent visits were disrupted by screaming children, which further diminished the experience.

It is a shame. This could have been a great addition to the community. But until they treat their staff with respect and create a better environment, I already pay for my view and will be ordering in and enjoying my meals at the surrounding tables instead of giving this place...

Luxe-Bistro Oceanside at Quadomain is as elegant as its name details. The atmosphere is inviting for couples, first-dater's and business meetings.

The menu online is extremely misleading for new diners. While the pricing is correct, the variety is very limited. Other than the list above, Luxe-Bistro Oceanside at Quadomain has excellent Pizza...it is very fresh and layered with perfection. The calamari is soggy and consists of large cuts making it rubbery to chew.

However, if you are looking for a place to enjoy a cocktail, coffee or some wine by the beach in Hollywood, FL the scenery is beautiful, inviting and romantic. The view captivates your attention as the sunsets in the evening breeze, bringing in the aroma of ocean waves crashing into the sandy beaches.
