I just returned from this Miami subs for the second time in 20 minutes or so because they forgot my fries. First of all, I had to order from the drive through, which was weird because I've eaten inside at 2 o'clock before, but I also had to order from behind a car, at least ten feet from the window, basically yelling my order over the running car Infront of me( I walked there because it's right down street from me). I ordered a combo , was given a drink and told to wait by the side door for my food. About ten minutes later, my food is passed to me through the drive through Window, not the door, making me have to reach over, now, a different car. With that car pulling away and more coming, I took the bag and went home without looking. I took two bites of my sub when I got home and went to get my fries, which weren't there so I went back to get what I paid for, only to be ridiculed and made to feel like some kind of thief. I brought the bag they gave me to hopefully show that I didn't get fries. There was no grease marks or left over fries on the bottom but whatever, I had money and she knew it since my change she gave me was $12(not to mention she saw me take the 20 out of a wad of more 20's. If I wanted more fries, I would have bought some the first time, not go back and stand there for 15 minutes letting my sub get cold!!.. well she refused to give me my fries over and over. Well first she had the young man run the register when I walked up and told him to say there was nothing he could do and she was doing her best to ignore me. I never felt more insulted by a restaurant employee my entire life. I stayed put until there were no cars and no reason for her to ignore me so she finally talked to me, only to be completely rude. She finally says, "here's your fries!" Kinda pushing them into my arms and so I left, biting my tongue. Well I get home only to find the steak fries(pretty sure not what I was supposed to get) were burnt to a crisp and about 2/3s full and she had thrown a bunch of crumbled up napkins on top. Anyways, I've never been treated like this hence this super long complaint. This woman needs to be talked to and I can only hope she will never do this to another person. Thanks.. this is the first bad review I've ever given to anyone .. I gave 2 stars cuz the sub was great (even though it was cold by the time I got to eat it) but the service was just atrocious. March 2, 2018 around 1230 am. Other than that mean lady, I like...
Read moreI usually never do 1 star reviews, but on March 13th around 6 pm, myself and a friend who just flew in from Ohio ate here. First off the Person running the register was rude, I even tried to make a nice comment to cheer her up. No luck. We both ordered no2, mine with Nathan fries my buddy seasoned. There was 1 couple besides us eating In and a corvette in the drive thru. Another man came in after us, ordered, waited 10 minutes and left. Finally 20 minutes later our cheesesteaks come out, no fries no drinks, she just drops them on the table and walk away. We both eat half the sandwich and I got up and asked for our drinks and fries. Boy I put her out...I wait at counter for drinks, she yells in the back for fries. She brings 2 seasoned fries out, I nicely tell her I had Nathan fries, she is pissed says I didn't pay for them and grabs on seasoned fry walks away, returns with ice cold burnt Nathan fries. I walked up for Ketchup for both of us , OMG got 4 packs from and wanted more but wasn't asking. We leave and 30 minutes later, stomach ache, tearing up the bathroom, literally slept 2 hours being so sick. Fever, soar neck, diarrhea, and still can't get rest at 4am on the 15th. Can't hold any food down. Dehydrated. Ow, we are a mess. Food poisoning. Great, my friend flew down to help me pack up my 5th wheel rv, boat and other stuff to head to Ohio today. We are doing our best to get thru this. But I personally have been affected more. He needs to be at work Monday, this has been a terrible experience. I wish she would've given me my receipt. I would have more information to report to the health department. That lady needs retrained and a thorough cleaning needs done at the restaurant. Employees should be wearing gloves and changing them after handling money or using restroom. I have never felt so ill, I have time to recover and am totally disappointed with everything at this visit. Filthy dirty, bad attitudes and bad food. I hope to hear from owner about changes. I owned my own business for 31 years, I would be embarrassed. If anyone else has been food poisoned from MG, please report to Broward county health department as that is...
Read moreI gotta say, where in a sad world where people want a service and companies are either too cheap or maybe in some cases unable to get additional employees. I came here on a Friday night (May 16) at 10 PM and found there was only one cashier. There is literally only one cash register, so that makes sense, but she was also the same person taking orders for the drive-through. As you know, Miami subs is not a place with a simple Menu. Lots of sauces sides, variations in meals and food items in general. When I got in there were four people waiting along with someone at the drive-through window and someone waiting to get their order taken. There were about two or three people in the back of the Miami subs doing the food preparation, but this one woman was running the entire front of the house, so to speak. At one point, her stapler broke, and she was unable to attach the receipts to the bag after trying dozens of times to fix the stapler. I felt so bad for her but also very astounded at how calm and collected she was the entire time. She said please and thank you and helped everyone as quickly as she could. I try to write positive reviews for the establishments that I know are doing their best even if the service is slower than expected. And I really hope this Miami subs considers getting more help on the weekends because I’m sure she wasn’t paid double...
