AWEFUL dining! I have never left a negative review, but thought it was necessary for this experience. Service was horrible. Felt like we were discriminated against bc we were not regulars nor spoke Spanish (although I am and do speak it but not my husband.) We walked in to tables not wiped down and seem to have been a bother to ask. Sat for 15 min before server came to give menus. (There are only 8 tables) After ordering a pizza and a Calzone, we waited 45 minutes and watched 4 other tables get their food before we asked about ours. During that time, we had to flag her down to ask for a 2nd beer. She never came to us! She admitted she had made a mistake and made our order TO GO & that our order HAD BEEN ready. I saw them removing the food from boxes and put onto the plates. Needless to say, our food was COLD. We are not the type to complain and we were starving, so we're began to eat. Halfway through, we realized this was not right. Once she brought our food, she never said a word to us, as if it was OUR FAULT. Again not confrontational people, we asked for our check, paid, leaving her the suggested tip and left. NEVER AN APOLOGY, THANK YOU or GOOD BYE. Guess we weren't SPANISH enough. We will never recommend nor...
Read moreReview of Kussifay Kussifay offers a warm and intimate dining experience, blending the bold flavors of Argentina with a subtle Italian flair. Despite its small size, the restaurant feels cozy and well-kept, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The star of the show was undoubtedly the skirt steak. It was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The dish was beautifully executed, showcasing a clear mastery of the grill. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and it was a truly memorable main course. Equally impressive was the service. Our server, Ian, was super attentive, making me feel genuinely cared for without being intrusive. He was quick with drink refills and happy to answer questions, enhancing the overall dining experience with his friendly and knowledgeable service. Dessert was a fitting end to the meal, maintaining the high standard set by the main course. The final dish was delicious, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to using quality ingredients throughout the menu. Kussifay is a true gem. The combination of its expertly prepared food, excellent service from staff like Ian, and charming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Argentinian cuisine with a...
Read moreNot going to say the food is bad but from my experience for a Friday night that they should be prepared for, I was pretty disappointed. Due to a condition I rarely if ever drink but tonight was an occasion to split a pitcher of Sangria. They asked white or red, we got Orange? First clue something is off. Companion requested whichever was sweeter. So we finish a very large pitcher quickly and for a guy with zero tolerance I'm totally sober. Look down at bottom, pile of sugar! Horrible bar service, please Google Fine Sangria recipe if you dare charge $20 for apple slices in fruit juice. I'm getting light headed as well bc they decided to spray the corners with Raid type bug spray with zero ventilation! Dear owner stomp the bugs before customers arrive and use the spray AFTER you close up for the night to not lung poison people you might want to return. I wanted to sit outside bc of covid but it was so humid and hot we had to pick sweat puddles or gas chamber. You dont get 1 bc your food is worth pick up only status!...
