Where's the pepperoni?

So I have been a long devoted Pizza Corral Lover for over 20 years. I loved Pizza corral until tonight. So here is my farewell letter to Pizza corral

Tonight I ordered 50.00 worth of pizza (not hard to do there) When my pizzas arrived one of the pizzas which was just a plain jane pepperoni and cheese pizza there were no pepperoni on this pizza. So I kindly called the Corral back to politely inform them that the pepperoni was left off my pizza the conversation went as follows:

PC "Pizza corral"

Me: "Good evening I'm calling to inform you that I just had 3 pizzas delivered and the pepperoni pizza has no pepperoni"

PC: "Excuse me? what did you say?"

ME: "I just had 3 pizzas delivered to XXXXX St and the pepperoni pizza is missing the pepperoni.

PC: "One second please" Background noise and vague conversation in background PC: "Can I have you name Sir?"

ME: "Yes, its XXXXX XXXXXXXX

PC: "One second" More background noise and conversation

PC "Whats your address? It should pull up the last order....."

Me: "Yes, I live at XXXXXXX St"

PC: "Ok it looks like you ordered a __, a _, and a pepperoni pizza is that correct?

Me: "yes"

PC: "One Second, OK you can either send the pizza back and we will remake it otherwise there is nothing we can do"

Me: "Excuse me what was that?

PC: "You can send it back or theres nothing we can do because the guys say the made all the pizzas right"

ME: "LAUGHTER....WOW Really? thats your stance? Well I'm not going to wait another hour for a pizza...WOW! What ever happened to the customer is right?"

PC: "Well I dont know sir I'm just the middle man here!"

Me" Yeah, Yeah I know its not your fault but WOW! I'll just throw it out and write Julie a letter!

I hung up at that point. Customer service these days is spiraling out of control. I took pictures of the pizza and will be taking this up with the owner! I even told this to the PIZZA MAN (Those at the corral will know who I'm talking about) even he was disgusted by this!

So this review will stand for know and I will amend anything pending the response from the owners

WHERES...

This is was my first time here we had the lunch buffet. I'll start with the good. Fantastic pizza wonderful sauce and crust and what must start as a mountain of cheese! And the chicken....OMG the chicken... Wow. To die for. You can hear the crunch from outside. The salad bar... For me was just fine but don't expect to be amazed. Had everything I would want for a salad but salad lover might be left wanting. Shredded iceberg. Again fine for me. Cottage cheese, sesame seeds, and some french. Mmm perfect.

The bad (that wasn't THAT bad). The pizza "buffet" consists of a 2 foot table that holds about 2 pizzas and a basket of chicken... OMG that chicken... This might work out for them most days but today it was busy.. probably busier than they excepted because everyone was waiting, got a slice or two, ate, then had to wait again.

My second serving of pizza didn't have enough of that delicious sauce. Probably because of the what I assume was an unexpected busy day and them rushing.

The good again.

Friendly service awesome food I can't wait to go back and bring my family.

I'll dream of that...

This place has been around since i was a kid, and it has always been a staple of Old Holmen- and for good reason. The pizzas here are unbelievably good, and for what you pay versus what you get, it is the best deal you’ll ever find. They should be charging WAY more for what you get. I currently live 3 hours away-and i make occasional pilgrimages there exclusively for the pizza. My son is home from Germany, and the ONLY restaurant he requested to go to is pizza corral. We always leave with at least 3 pizzas and the disappear quickly. Every person I have taken there or suggested the place to gives rave reviews. People sniveling over a buck and some change (taxes) really need a reality check. The taco pizza, the deep dish viking, or country special will change your life- no other pizza place compares. I have traveled the country from coast to coast looking for one that does, and i STILL haven’t found one that comes close.
