I don’t normally complain about things but this is pretty bad. Saturday night 2/17/2024 we took our boys out to Friendly's in Holyoke for dinner. The kids ordered boneless buffalo wings as an appetizer. Our waitress came out with bone-in wings. I politely pointed out the mistake and the waitress said she would take care of it. When our order arrived, my children ate most the wings without much thought. One of our kids said that they ate one and it was cold… and I thought that a some frozen chicken come precooked so maybe it was just that one piece. Well not so much… another one of our kids put a piece to the side on his plate because he said it was chewy. I looked and to my horror, it was raw in the middle. They do not come precooked. So our kids ate raw chicken wings and honestly they ate most of it before we realized. The appetizer came out with their food. We brought this to our waitress’s attention and she said she will inform the manager, Diego. She came back and told us the manager has so kindly offered us 15 percent off the appitizer! I said no, we are not paying for the appetizer and they took it off the bill but we still payed for everything else. Worst part…our waitress said that the manager cooked them himself. The manager never came over to apologize. We honestly should have walked out and refused to pay for any of it but we are too kind. Clearly they are not temp checking the food before sending it out. Now we wait and see if any of us get food poisoning for the next 24 hours. If we do I’m calling and having them refund our entire meal because that’s honestly not right. Joy! I am for sure not going to eat at this establishment again.

Update: I emailed the manager below on the 19th of February, and I still have yet get a response back. I’m afraid I may have to escalate this to their...
Read moreThey closed at 11 we got there around 930. The place wasn't the cleanest and the staff took a really long time. Our server had no other tables and I hadn't seen her working the ice cream window. But it took well over 20 minutes for 2 ice creams and a plate of french fries. The kitchen staff actually brought out the fries instead of our waitress. Just wasn't the biggest fan of her... Considering I saw her less than the guy who brought us our fries. When we got there there was one other table eating and only one more table showed up while we were there. That and only a coupe people actually came up to the ice cream window and just about the same came to pick up. It was slow. The first table left soon after we had gotten there but when we had left the table was still a mess. Writing this from the outside looking in, not a fan and probably will never go back to this location. The one enjoyable takeaway from this was the guy in the kitchen. He was playing some really good music that could be heard out on the other side of the restaurant. That music made the experience there, and that's just my taste. I'm sure if someone hadn't like Japanese rock, and sense's fail they probably would...
Read moreI worked here when I was 16 years old. I knew Alice forever. God rest her soul.
I decided to take my family there after a soccer game today and we waited longer than 15 minutes for drinks. Unfortunately the staff, presentation of food, delivery and prompt timing is all going into the ground! Didn't even have silverware to start eating when the food came out. The waitress brought out the kids meals and their ice cream at the same time so by the time they ate, their ice creams were melted. I got the fried shrimp dinner and I had to remind the waitress what condiments came w it. Plus the floor was disgusting. A big pile of a hair ball near the bathroom doors. The servers dropped and broke glasses 3 times while we were there. When leaving, I had to kick pieces of glass back into the cooking area so my kids wouldn't step on it. And the waitress asked if everything was alright and I didn't respond at all and just walked out after paying. The last time I was in this Friendly's was when Alice was still alive and taking care of it and Id say she is turning over in her grave at the way this place is being ran to today. I will never step one foot...
