The service was very good. The brought our pizza over to the table and brought us garlic and parmesan garlic shakers that were good added touches to the pizza. Love that the regular pizza crust is on the thicker side with a delicious fermented kind of taste to it. Like it was given time to rise at room temperature. We also got gluten free pizzas. They too were delicious. I will say, though, one of them was supposed to be Buffalo chicken. My husband said it was really hard to tell if it was Buffalo chicken or if they accidentally made BBQ chicken instead bc there was a sweetness to it but also a slight spiciness as well. Either way, he and my son said it was good. The Gluten Free meet lover was also very good. They tried each others and couldn't decide which they preferred they were both very good but different.

Update: 02/23/2024 Holyoke’s finest pizza has new ownership and the previous owners should be proud. Myself, my husband, and our toddler had the privilege of speaking with the new owner who was very kind. The service was great and the restaurant still retains a very child/family friendly atmosphere. The vegan selections are excellent and they still have many. We enjoyed a wild tofu combo pizza and some delicious pasta. The pizza was truly out of this world. We can’t wait to come back. I have dedicated my time to finding the perfect local pizza place and I think we can all agree, if you are looking for a aesthetically pleasing atmosphere with great pizza, Pizza D'action is the place to go. The pizza has tasteful fresh ingredients with every bite. Holyoke's finest pizza.

Update 8/25/23: there are new, new owners. Just purchased over the past month and reopened this week. I’m willing to give them another chance. I’ll try to remember to update this again soon. (Review below was the previous owners) ————— (Original review in June 2023): Things have definitely changed with the new owners. The biggest issue is that today was the THIRD time in the past month that I called during the hours stated on their new menu. The menu says they open at 11:00 today. I called at 1:30 and no one answered. As I drove by to go to a different lunch place, I saw Pizza D’Action was closed. I want to support them but I can’t even get lunch. Another issue is how much some of the prices have increased. I understand needing to make money to stay open, but $10.50 (used to be $6.25) for 6 mozzarella sticks that are not handmade? A quick glance through all the other pizza restaurant menus that have been delivered to my mailbox, and I see most charging $8.99 for 6 mozzarella sticks. Comparable pricing is important. I can see charging extra for some of the gluten free and vegan options as they cost more. But not pre-made mozzarella sticks. Lastly, the website still shows old pricing, hours, and you can’t order online (like their new menu states). I really want them to survive. And I want to continue to be a regular customer as I was before. But there are issues that need to be addressed. For the first month after reopening I gave them the benefit of the doubt with some of these issues. But it’s been long enough that this should have all been addressed by now.

This place has THE BEST food. I've been vegan for over 7 years and it's difficult to find great Italian food but wow does Pizza D'Action hit the mark. And they don't just have one vegan thing; they have a full vegan menu! I had the garlic bread, a pizza w/ vegan pepperoni, and the chili and alkshalhas the food was divine. Their cheese is identical in taste and melty-ness to real cheese, their crust was delicious, and their chili was so good I want to have it every day. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Holyoke, I'm going to be stopping there whenever I'm in the area bc this is not to be missed. Also: the owner and the staff were so friendly!!! Wonderful place.

We went here on St. Patty's Day eve last weekend. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a batch of fries I was not very impressed with (only reason I gave 4 stars, not 5)- they tasted frost bitten in my opinion but didn't want to send back. We also had two glorious pizzas. They were delicious. I had the california without chicken and he had the taco pizza. They both had amazing seasonings over the tomato sauce and under the cheese and were cooked to perfection. So tasty and delicious. The crust was super yummy too my only regret is not asking for extra sauce on the side for dipping. Really cool neat little place in Holyoke. IG: avprobeauty

Who orders a pizza without cheese? I asked several times during the ordering process to ensure the cheese was vegan and to include it on the pizza. After the pizza arrived with no cheese, I asked to have cheese put on and I would wait;mistakes do happen. i wanted to have a vegan cheese pizza. The server was nasty towards us afterwards and refused to accommodate us in any fashion. However, There is a good Puerto Rican restaurant within 2 minutes walking distance up the street. They have great customer service, vegan options, and hot food with no surprises. El Rincon
