I loved Aloha Cones from its days back on Kinau and glad to see them continuing their quality grinds in their new location.

This review would be amiss if I didn't mention their show stopping sushi cakes, though. When I saw them on a friend's IG I immediately ordered two for two birthdays I had coming up, three days apart. I knew I wouldn't mind eating their quality grinds only a few days apart.

Mike was easy to work with and sushi cakes ranged from $80-110 depending on the toppings. All were 10" wide, about 5" tall (not including sashimi flowers) and FILLED with spicy tuna and crab avocado. VERY reasonable pricing for all the work and fish that goes into these and one of the cheapest I've seen from other places doing similar things. I highly recommend you give them a call and get one for your next special...

Easily some of the best poke bowls I have had. The fish is incredibly fresh and the poke bowl options on the menu are excellent combinations. The restaurant is in a small strip mall with limited parking, but we lucked out with finding a spot in the lot out back, otherwise, it would have been challenging.

We arrived a short time before the restaurant closed, but the person working the counter allowed us to eat our bowls in the restaurant. We tried the salmon, which was incredible on its own, rich, buttery flavors, definitely some of the better salmon I have had.

Highly recommend - really reasonable prices for phenomenally fresh salmon and ahi, with a friendly and...

I love sushi and poke. When I saw that Aloha Cones make sushi cakes, I was so excited to try it! I messaged the chef and he was great in working with me to get exactly what I wanted. He offers many options and we went with the 6 inch since it was just for my husband and me. They’re absolutely beautiful cakes with sashimi roses, edible flowers, ikura in the middle and layers of crab and spicy tuna sushi layers. You get wasabi, pickled ginger, sweet sauce and even crunchy toppings to enjoy with it. It was very delicious. At pickup, his staff was super nice and sweet. I highly recommend them if you’re a sushi lover like me or wanting something different to celebrate a...

ordered their viral sushi cake to see what the buzz isbout’ its basically a caked shaped cali roll topped with sashimi. it’s a novelty for sho’. it’s heavvvyyy for its compact size, enough to feed 6 to eight people. the sashimi on top was fresh, the sticky rice base was a bit stickier than rolls, but i think thats by design for it to hold its shape. great novelty for a bday party. tasted better than i expected and was satisfying. the lady at the counter was super cool and helpful.
