Since moving here 6 months ago I've been looking for my place. My 1st week on Oahu we came to Pro nails and loved it but wound up living in a different area. After not finding anything as clean, friendly, affordable, I decided it's totally worth the little drive to come here everytime! This salon is spotless. The only one I've found to ACTUALLY use the autoclave on the tools, use liners in the basin, the chairs and floors are super clean. And they do the best art on my toes. I always call for appt, so I never have a wait. Cash only tips, cards accepted for all else, 5% discount for cash. Prices were about $5 more for services (2 deluxe pedi's with nail art ran $105 ) than other salons I've sampled on island but worth it for superior chairs, service, and sanitation in salon. Highly recommend!

It's hard to rate a nail salon because every tech is different with their techniques. However, it doesn't matter what tech gives the service, if they know what they're doing and have good products then there's no reason that I should have had a nail crack halfway through a long with lifting and/or chipping on every single nail. Aside from poor quality, it's also not even what I had asked for. I came in with the glitter fade look and I told the tech that I wanted to go for a Chevron shaped French tip with rhinestones, she flat out told me "I'm just going to give you the glitter fade because it's what you already have." Like what? What a waste of $80. I'll never come back here, I'm so disappointed.

Worst experience went to treat myself to a fill and replacement of one nail. Nail tech very rude and rough ended up ruining the nails that needed filling so had to get them all removed but ended up destroying my nail beds and injuring both my thumbs. I politely asked for credentials and to talk to a manager or owner to be completely denied. I don’t believe they are operating to code. Buyer beware!!

Been here a few times before, when my salon that I prefer to go to doesn’t have last minute availability. And every other time I came, it was good service. However, this past visit was a little different. I had an appointment already set & over the phone I told them what I was coming in for (Mani & Pedi) when I got there, I specifically asked for regular nail polish instead of gel. I also explained to them why (I was getting acrylic nail extensions & I wanted to be able to change the paint color whenever I want. At home) so because I was getting a mani & pedi, they sat me down to start my pedi & worked on my mani at the same time. Without me even noticing, the man who was doing my mani. Had already been laying out the acrylic on my nails & it was in COLOR! What I had already told them that I didn’t want. But because I knew it would be painful to remove, I held in my irritation & kept my mouth shut. Now with my pedi. I took the deluxe package (scrub, massage, callus removal etc) and with my paint color, AGAIN I was specific about the nail polish. After the massaging & scrub, I noticed that the woman working on my feet was getting ready to wrap it up, without even painting my nails. So I politely reminded her that I wanted my toenails also painted. She then said “Oh! Yea. But gelish is better” so CLEARLY she remembered that I wanted regular nail polish instead of gel. So I reminded her, about my preferred nail polish & why. AGAIN. And now, not only she but another woman who also works there started in on our conversation "Regular polish chip. not gelish. It last long time more" you see, thats the problem. I dont want it to last longer & I dont care if it chips. I requested "Regular nail polish" and it also has NOTHING to do wity price difference, its what i prefer. so because we were just going back and forth & not to mention the language barrier, I just told my self EFF IT already, its getting later, Im frustrated, irritated, unhappy with tye overall service & i wqs tired. So I said "Yea, whatever. I guess" & even with my CLEAR irritating tone & use of words, the woman wasted NO TIME & started painting.

My leaving this review, is not to bash them in anyway. I'm leaving this review in hopes that, moving forward "You listen and do as the customers ASK. NO QUESTIONS ASK" if I came in there, not knowing what I wanted & asked for suggestions, then at that point you would offer me 'What you feel is the best & most popular. But I came in there, knowing exactly what I wanted & you didnt honor my request. I cant say that you didnt listen, because YOU DID HEAR ME! you just didnt want to go with what I WANTED, yiu wanted what would bring you in MORE MONEY!! smh

DO BETTER "PRO NAILS" YOU HAVE A LOT OF COMPETITION OUT HERE!!

much Aloha,...
